    How to run the Beta in DX9; Seems like (by forums) that the game runs much better in DX9. Try it by finding the file " Settings.ini " and open that with Notepad(++). You see in there: (C:\Users\YOURACCOUNTNAME\Documents\BFBC2Beta) DxVersion=Auto And change that too; DxVersion=9 Close and save it.

    Old_Man Seems to be permanently on crygulch and have super speed now. Super speed kinda kills it for me. Keyboard macro types running too fast and changing to strength when they hit you and straight back to speed..... boring. Hope its only temporary. Yes thats temporary. Just happens if we forget to change the speed to default after speeding it up.

    Thanks to; Cobryis (Mod Adjustment), WiZiD (Mod Adjustment Maps), JohnnyDos (Giving nice Maps). Hardcore re-opend with some other maps. Flickering can also be the server by: sys_spec_full 3 so lets see if that happens still on all maps.

    Hmmm.. flicker...that is weird. I thought that some maps are more used to DX10 rather then DX9 and yeah its wierd. What ATi CCC are you running Johnny? I know that the 9.12 needed a hotfix but now you have 9.12 combined with a new driver of 10.1 from ATi. I havent heard that someone had flickering in this map nor other one in pre-test 700 before. I hope we can run the new editted maps this week as we fix the Hardcore up today.

    Cobryis_XI Well I deleted all the maps and was going to update via the file explorer on the Maverick site because File Zilla isn't working... but Maverick's file explorer can't handle big files so my update was a big failure. Ok loud 'n clear.. I will restore the tools this week and 99% today. We will cover this up

    Dang ISP.. a bit snow and DNS is lost and weekend is over. Costed my today 40 USD to call them and to fix it at the street again and I hope its stable now. But what maps isnt working now ? I hope to be online with you guys tonight.

    ducktape the only thing i wish was that there be mroe then 1 map I thought you can switch to 4 maps now in the demo? I havent tried it yet but will do. Or else yeah.. its a beta but I thought 4 maps though North Americans only but HURRY!     The Beta is FREAKING AWESOME! Its deft. like I thought.. a mix between COD4(MW1 and 2) and Crysis. Made a small bad video with my real cam but geez, its wow. Yeah its great and have to check how much there is on my coupon left to buy it.

    I see you point and I dont care whatever is loaded on the server(s) and just for fun for me. I like the combination of Shotguns and pistol/bash only (I am used to be dead in games and I think I have the most deaths of any game lol thats a winner!) You cant prevent things to happen, but only by server setup right?

    I have one 8600GTX XXX laying here and the first signs was like you have said. Cleaning it isnt going to help you now but try WiZiD link and for sure and I almost bet that the card will be 'dead' in a few months.     Thats good news Dragon! That map is and was the longest map on and we had to get it back to the server as it was for years. Dragon you have leanred alot and great to see that people are helping you. We can always see if to resize it or anything by feedbacks
