    This topic was/is a few days old. regarding the server crash that resulted in permissions problems.

    possiblity that it is using variable server plugin that we use to run on the server but i beleive it they took it off because it was locking it on to 32 players. not sure if it's on there now or not.

    Mac is a solid computer if you’re going to use it for development (Video creation, Photoshop, captivate) but when it comes to gaming I believe it lacks the output. Stick with a PC and if you want the Macintosh experience I would duel boot on another partition of your drive "hackentosh". macs are sturdy development machines but so far away from being gaming machines.

    Thanks for the information, im excited for titan mode, it was my favorate mode to play in 2142. i dont think i ever played conquest in 2142 it was always titan

    XP was an exceptional OS but windows 7 will take its place and will be the new superpower to business & personal Operating systems. my work just did a major rollout of windows 7 for this very reason of lost support.

    Also i have had this issue when changing out hardware. try rebooting a new OS and see if this works. i just went to my buddies house last week for an issue like this after he changed out his processor. i popped in a win 8.1 disk and it worked like a charm.

    I usually end up getting referb drives from micro center. there cheaper and have almost the same warrantee. right now I’m running a 1T Samsung referb and I’ve had it for about 4 years now with no problems. I’ve had Seagate’s go out on me in less than 2 years and I have never liked there shotty performance. WD i believe is the best and I believe they have better material that doesn’t break down as easily
