john tams got a reaction from Joe Canadian in Why Do You Come Here? Why Do You Game Here?
Dean
I've been a member of >XI< for a few years now, and I can honestly say you couldn't find a frendlier bunch of people.
Nobody takes the game too seriously, no bitching about losing, hacking etc.
Everybody just has fun, and that's as it should be in my opinion.
Regards
John Tams/Chris.

I thought it was impressive,
like you I live in the north (Wigan), and I totally understood the theme, the chimneys and forging scenes and the Brunel references could have been written for my part of the UK.

john tams got a reaction from Jonny in Please Help Me All By Answering This Question Seriously:
Depends on the terrorists intentions,
if they are just wanting to be allowed to land somwhere, then you would let the game run, because once on the ground the state has options.
1,(Negotiate)
2,(do something to incapacitate the terrorists, drugs in food drink etc)
3,(Finally, if all else fails, storm the plane - at least some of the innocents will survive)
However if it's a situation like 9/11, where the intention is to crash the plane, then the only option is to bring it down first.
(Because the innocents are going to die whichever course of action you follow)
Having said all that it wouldn't be a decision I would wish for anybody to have to make - and I hope it never comes to that.

I agree with you Gorilla,
We got 'em here in the UK too.
You get young couples-in some cases not married, have a shed load of kids
then demand the council not only give them a free house, but a BIG house to keep 'em all in
(sometimes knocking 2 houses into 1) and ...oh by the way...we CAN'T go to work because we can't afford the child care,
so they get paid to stay at home on benifits, and while on benifits everything else is FREE!
Great innit?
ME I'd recommend castration.
