  1. If there are 31 slots, why do people get redirected when the 30th player joins?
  2. It resets when the profile resets? In that case it makes sense, my profile got reset a lot of times after reinstalling... But I'm pretty sure there is a way to detect inactive players, the game has it built in.
  3. An admin isn't always there, they don't always monitor amount of players, they usually don't kick before someone gets redirected.

  5. Why isn't the server redirecting AFK spectators first...? And I'm still getting redirected while being active for longer than other non-members
  6. For each name? IP? Game Key? Total time? Current session time? If it's in total, there were at least two guys who had less playtime than I did, if it's in current session, I still had more than at least one of the non-members as a few joined a whole map after I did, and I was playing the whole time... Either way, even if it does work correctly, it kicks the 30th player as well (the one who joined to when there were 29, not 30) which shouldn't happen and does it redirect spectators? Also, it's pretty annoying to get kicked when you have a really high score instead of someone who just joined and has two kills...

Don't know how much it matters at other resolutions, I play at 2560x1440 with x2 MSAA and when I get hit with an EMP nade, the noise effect makes it almost impossible to see anything: PS: I know the redirect thing is supposed to only redirect the last non-XI person to join or the one with the lowest score or something like that, but I've been redirected 4 times only today (not including the redirects after rejoining immediately), in all of them I got kicked while there were constantly over 7 non-XI and at least 3 of them joined after me, on top of that, I was in the middle of a killsteak twice and in all of the 4 times, my score was high.

Sammy, everything you say is in theory, in the actual game, you still get easily killed by everything pretty easily and I've tried the flak jacket for a few maps, didn't help at all, when I got hit by an explosive, I died. It's really not much of a compromise to have a smaller radius but being able to always hit close enough. I'm not sure whether the tubes deal more damage than in vanilla CoD4 or if you just have less health, but it's not a one hit kill like it is in the mod, that's why barely anyone uses it. And the large blue text isn't yelling, just for people who don't bother reading what's not in their face and are incapable of saying anything useful. BTW, I'm far from being the only one who wished tubes didn't exist, but instead of doing anything, everyone just starts to use it.
  10. First off, if you cannot hold a discussion, don't bother saying anything at all. (Hint: anything off-topic / insults / anyone who is too weak-minded to control their emotions and have a logical discussion about something they disagree with, don't belong here.) Explosives - grenades / RPG / C4 and even mines are fine, they deal a lot of damage but they're not that easy to use, that's why so little people use them. On the other hand, pretty much everyone uses SMAW / grenade launcher, in vanilla CoD4, the grenade launchers aren't nearly as powerful and it's hard to kill someone who has the flak jacket perk with them, but in the mod, you just look at the general area and if the enemy is within a 10 feet radius, they're dead doesn't matter what perks you have, not only that, but the GL has 3 rounds. SMAW is even easier to hit with. Also, it'd be nice if explosives were blocked from using at the first 15 seconds of a round, to prevent the grenade spam. Guns - most of the guns in the mod are fully-auto while not having any compromise on accuracy or damage, the Saritch for example, is almost as accurate as the M16 which is burst fire and much weaker, even sub-machine guns are easy to kill with at long range and in close range you just hold mouse1 until your enemy is dead. And no, the game is not realistic in any way, it never was and it shouldn't be, that's no fun.

  12. For when too many people don't like the current map: if over 60% of players type !skip then the map is skipped automatically.

  14. I've used a lot of EMPs to see what actually happens. I was inside a building, an enemy came and I killed him and then a car came to defrost him so I moved and tossed an EMP nade but got killed right after. In the few seconds between dying and then spawning frozen I could see the car defrosting a guy who was right on me and it was also where my EMP landed and exploded on the car but it just drove away after defrosting him.

  16. If you didn't change anything yourself and that's how you got it then I'd recommend sending it back as it is right now because if you got a defective motherboard then fixing it isn't your responsibility

You only need the processor, the motherboard, RAM, a power supply and a screen (and the heatsink for the processor so it won't overheat) so carefully disconnect everything and take those out of the case, build it somewhere else out of the case, like on the motherboard's box or something (not on the anti static electricity plastic bag the motherboard came in as it's actually conductive on the outside and can damage the motherboard), connect only the essentials to the motherboard and power supply and double check it all, some parts can be tricky. Then connect it to a monitor and try again. You said it turns off after 20 seconds which sounds like there's something wrong with the BIOS, possibly the voltages / clock speeds, so if it still turns back off (and maybe turns itself on and off over and over) try to let it sit there for a while, like 30 minutes or reset the BIOS (if you don't know how then just Google it) and then try again and see if it boots (into BIOS since no drives are connected).

I don't think it has anything to do with the mod, it depends on your ping and connection settings, there's a bit of delay between pressing 4 or whatever your bind for a special grenade is and the grenade being actually thrown on the server's side. It happens to me a lot with normal grenades, I die and on my screen I dropped a grenade but on the server it wasn't processed yet.
  19. Doesn't make much sense.... The i5 2500k is a lot better than the Phenom 2 X4 940. Radeon 7970's memory bandwidth is almost 40% higher and the GTX 680 is about 10% better at processing.
