Im not sure if this is the same sinbad or not but both boomer and i have played with him several times in svr 1 and if its the same 1 xtreme i wouldnt worry he tends to whine alot when hes looseing.

as a part time musician myself and former singer i realise how hard it is to sing and play at same time you did very well your voice is good and clear and you have excellent rhtym .I lisstened to your first song the cover of unchainned melod. you did a good job on that.that was a song me and my band used to cover all the time.the timeing in that song is difficult and crucial to getting the sound u nailed it good job. if you dont mind some advice. stage fright is common eassiest thing to do and what I used to do was pick one person out of audience and play to them first song in a live set shoud be a simple recognizeable 1 start with covers and work your own into the set. you should make a demo and go to radio station they may play it or a track from it.little k nown fact about radio stations they are always looking for new undiscovered tallent and will listen to your tapes you probably wont get paid but the exposure u get is worth it. in my opinion you have the talent both as singer and songwritter good luck.

I can relate to your sittuation last winter i had just got in my chev and put my seatbelt on.My truck was the only 1 in an empty parking lot and it was still in park when all of a sudden i felt something big hit me.turned out it was a transport truck which hit my back end and spun me into a snow bank.the guy actually tried to drive away but was stopped by wittnesses.his excuse he hit the air brakes by accident. never mind that when the cops showed up he failed the breathalizer test. then he accused me of backing up into him lamo he shit his pants when i showed him my badge and informed him that he just ran into an MNR officer;s truck. He lost his liscence .No sympathy from me for drunk drivers or careless drivers for that matter. cheers

No biggie cobra just wanted to make ppl aware so they wont get pissed at me in game.as it is I am still comeing to terms with alot right now looseing my voice for instance and the fact that ive been told at this point all treatments r doing is buying me some time faceing my mortality isnt that hard liveing the rest of my life no matter how long r short it will be as a mime is the hardest thing that I will have to come to terms with. cheers

K i have played on svr1 just short periods of time lately and other night someone yelled at me in game to speak up. anyways as alot already know i am fighting cancer had my vocal cords removed awhile back so even if i had a mic I cant talk at all. i know not everyone has read mine or manthis's previous posts so maybe they werent aware.Overall the support i have gotten from xi members in particullar has been overwhelming. there is very litle i am able to do these days but gameing is one of them.like I said most are understanding . but remember this is after all just a game alot of people dont use mics in game .i always used 1 before but can no longer my whole life has changed now maybe u should all try going one day just 1 without talking to appreciatte what im going through.Just be patient with me in game is all i ask. cheers jack

I'd suggest that if you are being recruited by a clan member from another clan while in game bring it to the attention of an admin,if no admin are on then next time it happens note the name or the time and map name it occured on and pass it on to an admin,im not an admin but there are those of us that have played on xi for years so u can always point it out to an xi member and we can pass it along to an admin.I do believe our rules of conduct are posted on site if you want to check out what is allowed and not allowed cheers jack

I feel I should make 1 thing clear here.. We believe everything in life is connected to each other one cannot survive without the other the circle of life. so death and the prospect of dying does not scare me it is simply a door that each and every living thing must go through at one point or another.i know that those I have loved and shared my life with who have passed on before will be holding the door open for me. I admit i feel down about this whole awful experience so I cover it up with a sense of humor but I have absolutely no regrets with how I spent my life it was not a perfect life but it wasnt a life not lived either. my greates accomplishments and enduring legacy will be my children I believe that i will not truly be dead as long as my memory lives within them. if you have children then dont put them to bed without hugging them and telling them how much you love them time is short and everyday we should tell we love you to those that mean the most to us. cheers jack

its just after 3 am here and i cant sleep hospitals suck for getting any rest. im still preety doped up from the medication and grogy from the anestitc . my throats numb but doctors say itll hurt like hell tomorrow. I can no longer talk so they gave me a pad and a pen to write things down. i guess the operation went well i guess the pneumonia and cancer did a number on my insides. my larynx and vocal cords were preety messed up so they removed my vocal cords so I wont be able to do my imitation of wardragon ever again lol. on a positive note my lungs are odd as it sems preety healthy wish my stomach and the rest of me were. well im sure youll be ok i mean im still here and going so u can to .i remember when they suggested my operations ive had 3 total 1 to romeove my apendix and 1 to remove part of my lower intestine and 1 to remove part of my stomach wall. Like you they had an ideal of what I had but I had a ton of tests to verify what they suspected. I say go to the place that can give you the best care. Let me or manthis know how your doing bubbles and know that we care for you. Id trade places with you but were pretty much in the same boat lol sense of humor is good to have bubles and like boomer said positive thinking

As I am writting this the doctor is filling out my discharge papers or forms Il be leaving hospital and returning home. My final test results were good doctor thinks the operations worked he is optemistic and pleased. My blood work showed my white blood cell which is your imune system is good rateing I havent actually seen the numbers on that yet. i was woried about that cause I am still recovering from my bout of pneumonia . I have responded well to my chemo aside from the tiredness and loss of taste buds cant taste anything now. I feel better then I have in quite sometime. Docs say i will never get back to the weight I was before as my stomach shrunk due to operations.I still have a long way to go to fully reover and beat this cancer but doctors have given me a 75 percent chance at survival provideing there is no more spreading or complications. I will have to go back to hospital for further chemo and dialysis and radiology but at least for now ill be back home and finally after all this time I have a bit of hope. cheers

I figgure everyting ballances out I mean penis are smaller then they were 50 years ago but hell boobs have gotten bigger in the last 50 years . im just surprissed that politicians arent listed as contributing factors in penis shrinkage or oprah for that matter im sure menny mens members have shrunk and cowered in fear when oprah mentions her book of the month choice. penis may be getting smaller but theres no shortage of dickheads ie politicians meter maids my boss. cheers

With so many people who are going through hard times wether finacial personal or health (myself incl)id like to start an open thread to awknowleadge those that despite evrything they r going through still remain positive in game and make others feel good about playing on svrs with them.those that display a fair play and strength of character. so id like to send a little good will and luck to the followin people Mr. Bubbles because despite what he is dealing with he always a pleasure to talk to Boomer because he can keep his chin up but wont kiss ass he is the king of cool MANTHIS simply put she is the bravest girl I know and puts others needs before her own badger and Johnny quest youll seldom hear them complain about anything in game please ad your own

I will be offline for awhile .i guess the chemo is affecting me.i tried playing for a bit but just to much for me to stay focused. i have been feeling very tired and I am prone to headaches now so probably best to take a sabatical. Next week I will start dialasys that plus the chemo will preety much side line my ass for quite some time. hopefully ill be going home soon.i find out in about 2 weeks what my chances if any I have to survide so me n miranda r keping our fingers crossed jack

i have a bit of time to kill before they come to get me n start another round of treatments. They are makeing me eat n eat I feel like a gorilla in a zoo lol and hospital food isnt that great god give me a beer n a bag of dorittos anyday over this star trex carbohydrate slop.anywhoo my prognosis hasnt changed docs r giveing me an 80 percent chance of recovery depending on how well I respond to chemo.my body hurts and burns from inside out. I get dizzy spells and my eyes are stinging if i look at lights n stuff lol.Docs say soon I will loose my sense of taste should be interesting to test the theory and eat all the mexican food i can .yesterday was tough I couldnt even budge an inch just lied in bed. Cancer is like that you have a good day and alot of bad days.My uncle died of cancer a few years back and my aunt gave me a copy of his journal I am adding to it . My hands shake so I recite it to miranda and she wriites it down shes a hell of a trooper .i got cleaned up yesterday and looked i the mirror god i look awfull like a vampire pale and thin i dont look in mirors anymore. Anyways I miss you all but hopefully ill be going home in about 3 weeks. One bright thing is ive lost my apendix and part of my stomach wall so I dont have much more that this freakin disease can take from me. Jackk

I am trying to remain focused and positive it seems to get hardder to do funny when u come to that point where u hit the wall u figgure its eassier to bang your head against it rather then climb over it. the next 4 weeks r gonna be the toughest yet for me. its not just gainning weight back but the treatments ill loose my sense of taste and theres the fatigue im tired now doc says ill fel ten times more tired after treatmets .lol im not looking forward to it cheers
