Hi all...Just installed Windows7 ult. and now my dvd rom won't see the Crysis dvds....none of them. the rom sees other dvds just not these

It should be ok.... i think the problem is upgrading from xp

I think it was my fault.....stupid me thought i could just boot from the window7 disk,format and install, but since its an UPGRADE diskit wiped out the mass storage controller driver,then wouldnt find the driver from the motherboard disk. So the moral of this story is if you got one of the sale priced disks,its an upgrade so you have to boot xp and install from there....

John wanted me to send a note saying he will probably be back up by Wednesday had some problems upgrading windows.If anyone needs to get ahold of him leave me a pm,and i'll make sure he gets it.

Remember folks,it's super easy to misinterpret written text.You can easily miss a posters genuine intent i.e. sarcasm,dry humour or sometimes ones thoughts just don't translate to text well.If in doubt try xfire or vent and hear it face to face 8 times out of 10 it was a misunderstanding.If someone tells an admin which map and where the glitch is,I'm pretty sure it will get taken care of,but also these are not paid positions,and people have personal lives. I seriously doubt any of our admins would purposely leave a "bad" map on the server. Just my 2 cents(with exchange it's 1.9) Have fun,we're all on the same team here.
