In Ontario, Canada we are only allowed to have: 10 family members in our house 20 family members in our backyard (too cold for that now) so.......

The colick part is over. The baby has slept for 7 hours for the last 3 nights. The cries have stopped. My daughter still has issues though and is getting help for them. I hugged her and told her how proud I am of her that she has managed to get through one of the most intense stages a new parent can experience. I told her to pat herself on the back for a job well done.

She belongs to 2 mom groups on facebook. She told me once she is over this she is going to be sharing her story with them. She said she does not want any future mother to feel they going through the same as her alone. She has thanked me many times for being there for her when she needed me. I told her that's what moms do. No matter how old the children are their moms will will always be there for them no matter what.

I have spent the last month helping my youngest daughter who just had a baby. She has been having a very rough time. She went to the hospital this morning and they told her she is going through a very bad case of postpartum depression. She can't sleep or eat and she is suffering from anxiety. They gave her sleeping pills and made appointments to get her help. She said, "Mom, how do you know so much? They said almost word for word what you have been saying to me all along." I just told her I didn't get to 62 years of age without learning things. She is a lot better now and she is coming to my house to sleep.

When I lived on Grand Island, NY many many moons ago there was a male white swan. His mate got run over by one of the previous property owners. We used to have to go over this mini bridge to get to the barn because when he seen you coming he would swim towards you get out of the water and try to attack you. One time we were sitting on the loungers in the backyard and my friend came out the back door and screamed run. It was running up to us the sneaky bastard. 2 more feet and he would of got us. 4 women screaming LOL

The maximum a Class Member can claim for Category A Claims is $25,000. The balance of the Net Settlement Fund to pay claims for Class Members who do not claim under Category A, including wasted time and inconvenience responding to one or more of the Data Breaches, in the amount of $25 per hour for each hour spent responding to one or more of the Data Breaches, not to exceed $125 for each Data Breach where the Class Member received a Notice of the Data Breach ("Category B Claims" or "Alternative Compensation"); and Class Members who qualify for Category B Claims may elect to waive that compensation in favour of credit-monitoring services of at least one year ("Category C Claims" or "Credit Monitoring Services"). You cannot make a Claim until after the Settlement is approved. If the Settlement is approved, further notice of the Settlement will NOT be given. Before he died, Billy Graham was returning to Charlotte after a speaking engagement and when his plane arrived there was a limousine waiting to transport him to his home. As he prepared to get into the limo, he stopped and spoke to the driver "You know," he said, "I am 87 years old and I have never driven a limousine. Would you mind if I drove it for a while?"The driver said, "No problem. Be my guest!" Billy gets into the driver's seat and they head off down the highway. A short distance away sat a rookie State Trooper operating his first speed trap.The long black limo went by him doing 70 in a 55 mph zone. The trooper pulled out and easily caught the limo and he got out of his patrol car to begin the procedure. The young trooper walked up to the driver's door and when the glass was rolled down, he was surprised to see who was driving. He immediately excused himself and went back to his car and called his supervisor. He told the supervisor, "I know we are supposed to enforce the law, but I also know that important people are given certain courtesies. I need to know what I should do because I have stopped a very important person." The supervisor asked, "Is it the governor?" The young trooper said, "No, he's more important than that." The supervisor said, "Oh, so it's the president." The young trooper said, "No, he's even more important than that." The supervisor finally asked, "Well then, who is it?" The young trooper said, "I think it's Jesus, because he's got Billy Graham for a chauffeur!"

Richard, (my husband), never really talked a lot about his time in Viet Nam, other than he had been shot by a sniper. However, he had a rather grainy, 8 x 10 black and white photo he had taken at a USO show of Ann Margret with Bob Hope in the background that was one of his treasures. A few years ago, Ann Margaret was doing a book signing at a local bookstore. Richard wanted to see if he could get her to Sign the treasured photo so he arrived at the bookstore at 12 o'clock for the 7:30 signing. When I got there after work, the line went all the way around the bookstore, circled the parking lot, and disappeared behind a parking garage. Before her appearance, bookstore employees announced that she would sign only her book and no memorabilia would be permitted. Richard was disappointed, but wanted to show her the photo and let her know how much those shows meant to lonely GI's so far from home.. Ann Margaret came out looking as beautiful as ever and, as second in line, it was soon Richard's turn. He presented the book for her signature and then took out the photo. When he did, there were many shouts from the employees that she would not sign it. Richard said, "I understand. I just wanted her to see it." She took one look at the photo, tears welled up in her eyes and she said, "This is one of my gentlemen from Viet Nam and I most certainly will sign his photo. I know what these men did for their country and I always have time for 'my gentlemen.'' With that, she pulled Richard across the table and planted a big kiss on him. She then made quite a to-do about the bravery of the young men she met over the years, how much she admired them, and how much she appreciated them. There weren't too many dry eyes among those close enough to hear. She then posed for pictures and acted as if he were the only one there. That night was a turning point for him. He walked a little straighter and, for the first time in years, was proud to have been a Vet. I'll never forget Ann Margaret for her graciousness and how much that small act of kindness meant to my husband. Later at dinner, Richard was very quiet. When I asked if he'd like to talk about it, my big, strong husband broke down in tears.. ''That's the first time anyone ever thanked me for my time in the Army,'' he said. I now make it a point to say 'Thank you' to every person I come across who served in our Armed Forces. Freedom does not come cheap and I am grateful for all those who have served their country.
