So i feel like starting an argument today. I Tried googling this but mixed reviews are all i got (i'm expecting the same here). I have an 8 Core AMD FX 8370. Friends are saying i should have gotten a 4 core Intel 4790K. The question is AMD 8 core or Intel 4 core? I know intel is five years ahead of AMD. I know intel is superior. But will the future of gaming rely on 8 cores in the years to come? Let me know your thoughts!

I was just wondering if this is normal, i attached a picture of my CPU stats. It's pretty freakin cold even after i ran a game for 20 minutes. The minumum temp is 6C and max is 25C. Online i read the norm is 40C-50C. Any thoughts?

I'm curious, what is the best way to setup water cooling? Push? Pull? How much difference does it make to have either or?

So if i add 2 more fans i want them pushing air out aswell?

So i got an corsair H100i GTX for christmas. Its all set up but im having one debate with myself and getting mixed reviews on google. The radiator and fans are mounted to the top of the case, should i have the fan taking in air or exhausting air?

Problem was solved. I returned that cpu (known for being unstable) and got an fx 8370. My pc is now running perfectly!!! Thanks everyone for your tips!

After doing a lot of digging I found that this chip is unstable. Soooo many people are having trouble getting it stable. So I'm trying to contact newegg to return it and pick up and fx 8350 and just over clock it to 5ghz.

I'm going to try a fresh install right now. Was really hoping to avoid it at all cost but last thing on the list of things to do.

so latest bios is installed. not the latest gpu drivers. Can't install anything in safemode and i'm afraid to turn off safe boot in fear that i won't be able to get it back to safe mode LOL

So I'm having an issue, I just installed a new cpu. It's an AMD FX 9590. I have an AMD sabertooth 990fx/gen3 r2.0 mother board and a new corsair H100i Gtx water cooler. I followed all the direction perfectly installing everything. When windows boots up about 10 seconds after logging in the computer freezes. I updated the bios already once I put the new chip in. It's not my power supply I have 1000w. I can't get windows to load in safe mode because pressing f5 does nothing on start up and pressing f8 only opens a boot menu to select a boot drive. Any suggestions? Thanks,
