You don't need to go back to 1.6 to fix it. Just get the 1.7 version. Drag and drop it in your cod folder. And over write the 1.8 file. You may need to up date your server log file as well. Is he on pc or mac? Also.. do not connect to the game through steam afterwards. Copy the exe to your desktop and connect that way. If you go through steam it will auto update back to 1.8.

Oh yeah, I had in disconnected for an little over an hour. I did the work in the driveway. And you have the remove the alternator from underneath the vehicle.

@KaptCrunch No, no modifications done to the car. Everything is stock.

@Slackernet When disconnecting the battery. It erases the computers memory. The only way to avoid it is connect a small battery to the cigarette lighter plug in. Your dead on about the engine temp and driving conditions though.

No, the mil light isn't on. Only when the car is in the on position without starting do I ever see it. When they scanned it at my old job. They checked to see if it was actually working. Said nothing looks wrong according to the scanner. That they're just not ready yet. Tomorrow I will jump on the freeway again and see if I can get it to go.. pretty annoying when there's nothing you can do but waste gas..

@BUDMAN Roughly 2 months sense I've changed the alternator. At witch time I disconnected the battery. As far as this morning. I took my kids to school, got some breakfast, then to the smog shop I normally go to. I found something on a dodge forum stating drive for 5 miles at 70 mph. Decelerate with out pressing the brake to 55. With no hard braking pull over, let idle for one minute. I did that twice. Then took it to my old shop I used to work for, and had them connect the odb2 scanner. And it still wasnt ready. They also stated if you turn the key to the on position without starting. Within 10 seconds if the mil light starts flashing, then it's not ready. And it did that. After I drove it.. it didnt. But the scanner still said other wise.

Okay, so January is my month for CA vehicle registration renewal. This year they hit me with a smog check. No problem right?? Wrong.. Around the end of November or the beginning of December my alternator went out. So I changed it out myself. No big deal. Except now, 2 months and a few hundred miles later.. Inspection time. Everything passed except ready monitors for my catalyst and o2 sensors. Prior to knowing this, I have driven quite a bit, including an out of town trip. Witch was 80 miles one way, so 160 miles round trip. 2010 Dodge Charger 3.5L SXT Any Ideas? Aside from finding the closes river or cliff.. lol I know it just needs to be driving. But is there a certain drive patterns to help it cycle?

Okay, this is mine pinging NY. Upload dropped 1 mbps, then download dropped a bit as well. Then my ping went way up, lol.

@RobMc I normally have an in game ping of 100-110 too.. @Timmah! Saying the server is based I NY makes sense of a 100 ping.. being that I'm on the other side of the country. I'll run a test speed later to New York and see what it looks like. I'll post it when I'm at my computer.

@J3st3r Yes I was on WiFi. No.. No one is stealing wifi. Some times I use wired, sometimes wifi. Just depends on if I've used the printer that day. Sometimes i forget to switch it back. My printer is wireless and sits on the other side of the room. So I can only print when my computer is on wifi. But, I do have 3 boys that are consistently using something though. From HULU, youtube, ps4, Nintendo switch.. however they wasnt when I ran this test. But i have a phone app that let's me see all connected devices. And I can disconnect each individual device from my phone. Comes in handy when they dont want to listen. I just pause the devices connection..lol Yeah, my upload speeds suck. I've talked to xfinity about it. They said they cannot change it. Only download speeds. It's been like that for years. And yes, your computer can make you lag. Rather it be hardware or a software issue. Nice speeds BTW!!

Lets see what yours actually is! ** Obviously other countries can effect internet speeds in game. But, speed tests are localized according to your region. I used speedtest.net **Personally I think people put too much on ping and speeds. When this game came out 20-50 Mbps was new with fiber optic internet.. 5 Mbps DL and 5 Mbps upload was avg. And computers have came a long way sense then.

Upload logs to post or PM them to a XI member you trust. Then go from there. To generate these logs, please follow the steps listed below: Open "Event Viewer" by right clicking the "Start" button. Good info from the above. Maybe think of anything that's changed lately. Definitely update all that you can. I went in my computer manufactur website the other day and found a few updates. Chip bios, USB, ect.. Also, I know my windows updates a week or two ago. Also I've had a few nvidia updates lately as well. You may try roll back to a previous save point. Then go through all your updates. Obviously save anything to disk you may have been working on before rolling it back.

Looks normal on my android. I haven't changed the theam or anything though. The only issues I have on the android, is when typing a message.. if I rotate my screen. It makes be restart the message over. But it only happens in private messages. Not in forum topics.

I've used this one for the past year. I wasn't expecting much when we got it, but it's pretty comfortable. You can adjust the sensitivity with the button near the wheel, and a few extra side buttons too. Down side is it's wired, but the wire is pretty long. And it's only $10 on Amazon.

I don't live too far from this. Maybe 70 or 80 miles, the smoke form it was pretty bad too.
