I think that got it, and made the spark fade out more at the end and slowed down the restart by another second or so.

Looking at it now, I can see some black patches around the letters. Going to need to go in an remove that layer. It's a layer that was there for added drop shadow.

An updated version. I'm thinking about adding a bit more to it, I just need to play around with it and see if it looks okay.

Just playing around with text styles. Working on another one with the same text type, but with animation. I'll post in the same topic once it's complete.

@BUDMAN I lived upstate for a little while too. Around Glens Falls/Queensbury area just north of Albany. Wasn't too bad, aside form the heavy snow fall during the winter. @Angelz Yeah, blue wasn't that strong either. But it was cheap. When I went to the bar they would have $1 blue's all night. Wasn't until I moved to norcal that I started drinking ipa's and craft beers with the 7 to 9 percent volume. Aside from the better flavor, you don't have to drink as much. Just get straight to the point!

As far as the mic issue and cod4.. the first few are the problem. But, a few more are added. ? ? (copy and pasted from another source.) **Not responsible for changes made to your system. <<<<<<<< From Sikon Enable Stereo Mix Right-click the volume/speaker icon in your system tray, and select Recording devices. (If you don’t have the icon in your system tray, open Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Sound → Recording.) Right-click and select View Disabled Devices. The device Stereo Mix appears. Enable the Stereo Mix device. Start the game. If that doesn’t solve the issue, try the next suggestion. Use a mic & headphones Plug in a microphone into the microphone jack. Plug in headphones into the headphone jack. Right-click the volume/speaker icon in your system tray, and select Recording devices. (If you don’t have the icon in your system tray, open Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Sound → Recording.) Set Microphone as the default input device. Switch to the Playback tab. Set Headphones as the default audio playback device. Start the game. If that doesn’t solve the issue, try the next suggestion. Realtek: Disable front panel jack detection If you have an Realtek onboard sound card, this might help: Double-click the orange volume/speaker icon in your task bar. This opens the HD Audio Manager. Click on the folder icon in the upper right edge. Check Disable front panel jack detection. This forces the driver to load microphone support even without a mic plugged in. Close the top-most window. In case you’re using the digital output, make sure that the Digital Output device is set as the default. To do that, click on Digital Output in the upper bar and on Set Default Device next to the volume adjuster. Start the game. If that doesn’t solve the issue, try the next suggestion. Sigmatel: install updates If you have a Sigmatel onboard sound card, install all Windows updates and the latest Sigmatel drivers from http://www.dell.com/. Remove the mssmp3.asi file Go to the installation folder of CoD4. Enter the miles folder. Rename the file mssmp3.asi to mssmp3.asi.bak. Start the game. If that doesn’t solve the issue, try the next suggestion. Update PunkBuster Make sure PunkBuster is updated to the latest version. Install Call of Duty 4 patches Install all patches up to at least v1.5. (Currently, the latest available patch is v1.7.) If that doesn’t solve the issue, try the next suggestion. Reinstall sound card drivers Before continuing, please make note of the make and model of your sound card prior to removing it in order to aid in reinstallation at a later date. Uninstall your sound card drivers as follows: Open Start → Run and enter sysdm.cpl to display the System Properties dialog box. Go to Hardware → Device Manager. Expand Sound, video, and game controllers. Right-click the sound card driver and then select Uninstall. Then let Windows install its default sound drivers.

I was having the same problem starting this week. I dont know if something updated or what changed. But would start to load then crash. I realized pretty quickly though it was something with sound settings. Because it would only crash when my mic wasnt plugged in. Common cod4 issue.

I haven't posted any where except on sig testing. Figured should check in as well. I've played on XI's freeze tag server for a few months. I haven't played a lot of mod maps prior to that. Witch is why I don't know a lot of the maps ya'll play. So even though the maps are old, they're new to me! Also, I never played freeze tag until a few weeks before I found your server's. I played a few maps at F4H. Then the Open Warfare 2 mod added with freeze tag, kind of got me hooked. Lol. Okay so. I'm 38, live in Northern California. Have a family, witch are all gamers as well. Recently laid off due to my job closing for good. So, I've decided that it's a good time to go back to school. In my free time I enjoy playing drinking, playing games, and making graphics. Just recently got back into that But, i'm no designer. Just like playing around with photoshop. I'm also a decent mechanic. Have been into computers sense I was 14. Built by own when I was 15. Ahh, yeah.. So HELLO! And see ya in game! ?

Thank you, @Angelz. I didn't use any blending effects on the character itself. It just left over from after I used the quick selection tool. I didn't clean it up any afterwards. If you look in between the gun and his waist, it's even more noticeable. I noticed that too on the smudges under his right leg. Lets just say he used to be a lot taller, lol. It was lined up better, then I moved the character down. And just used the eraser to get rid of excess. Didn't notice it until I uploaded it, with the white background and all.

Thank you. It's actually the first sig I've done sense probably 2005. PS is a little different sense then. But, I think doing this one helped me remember where all the functions are. I think i'll work on another one though.
