    if it's not a regular occurrence you probably just have a run-away thread from a game. Use Ctrl+alt+Del to get to the task manager. From there you can see what process is taking all the resources. You can always google the process name if it looks unfamiliar. You can kill the thread manually from the task manager. Be careful though. You are plucking at the heart strings of a crappy and unstable OS.

    good idea on the hose. I have no dash speakers btw. Also, I have checked every system I can think of for the relays and no matter what I do, it makes no difference. (wipers, all lights, signals, ac, fans, air, etc.) I don't have any power windows / locks / or cruise so that takes out a lot of possible wiring problems. everybody knows that... 88 mph

    My 92 miata makes a clicking noise (5hz about) under the dash near the steering wheel. It only does it when it's warm out and it doesn't change with moving speed / engine speed nor any of the internal controls such as wipers / fans etc. I've tried to find it but I'd have to take the whole dash off to get to the noise.
