Record for later use. And as to not take up HDD space. I mean I have a good 4-5 TB's, but I dont need that riddled with videos where I am only going to care about 5% of it. The PC will handle the stress, and I have a 50 down 25 up connection, so that should be fine too. Just need to find a good site for it. My other thought would be to write a script, to save the games to a dropbox folder, that would send them to another local machine, then delete the file after 10-20 mins. Ill check that out right now. thanks!

Does anyone know of a program that will capture video output AND upload it "the cloud" or somewhere, on the fly?

Good site to help explain things. Interesting that one of the graphic settings is backwards - Details Field: Setting it to Ultra actually sets it to low and vice versa. Personally, I will leave it on Ultra (or set it to low when they fix it) Less trees/grash/bush means easier to see people. It was originally in French, but here: http://www.google.com/translate?hl=en&ie=UTF8&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.clubic.com%2Fjeu-video%2Farticle-597652-5-battlefield-4-guide-technique.html

This is a really awesome strat! (SRAW)
OddJob001 replied to OddJob001's topic in Battlefield 4's Battlefield 4 Discussion
I have been using the RPG for quite some time. But now that I see this trick. I am probably going to solely use the SRAW. RPG will do like 27-34 dmg (1 rocket) and SRAW will do about 50-94 dmg (2-3 rockets) if you can get the strat down. When you can get all 3 to hit you can actually destroy some vehicles. I have found this extremely effective on the attack boats whom are sitting out in the open water. I'll be saving RPGs for closer quarter maps like Zavod and SRAW for larger open maps since you can do this from as far away as the other side of the map. -

BTW I tried this last night. Its difficult to get the first rocket to land on target. However, it works amazingly. I was able to take out armor much much faster. -

From another server admin: SERVER OWNER WARNING R10 Ticket count on Official servers is now capped at 100% MAX; Ranked at 200% MAX So as some of you may have noticed this morning you are no longer able to change the ticket count on Official servers to anything over 100. This means that my two 70 slot Official TDM servers that are currently number 7 and 9 in BF4 rankings have matches lasting less than 4 minutes. If you don't have an SSD you might not even get in the game until it's halfway over at this point. We also tested if there were ticket restrictions on our "Ranked" server. We are not able to set a ticket value over 200% as anything over that amount immediately reverts back to 200. We don't know if DICE did this on purpose of if this is some new rule that has come down from on high - but I do know that if this is now a permanent setting then 64 player TDM and other modes will be a thing of the past since the rounds will last about as long as the load times and the end screen. Let me know your thoughts and if you have a server - try changing the tickets to be more than 200% on any server type.

PC Patch is Live. R10 Server Rolling Out - UPDATE #11 (Nov 14-2): Server Update R10 rolling out We are seeing a lot of server crashes at the moment. These are being solved by rolling out a new server patch on PC (Server Update R10). It will take a few hours for this new server version to propagate, but it should be with most servers in a matter of a couple of hours. If you are getting error messages referring to the China Rising expansion pack when trying to join a multiplayer server, please try another server. This error will only appear if a server has not yet updated from server version R9 to R10.

I was skeptical. However, I saw a huge performance increase. I was running a few things on high and few on medium with an FPS of 35-65, averaging around 50. (560 Ti). My new settings are high for everything and my fps is 45-75 averaging around 65. Do it.

UPDATE #9: PC Game Update Goes Live Nov 14 We are happy to report that the PC Battlefield 4 game update will go live tomorrow, November 14. The main focus of this update is threefold: 1) Reduce the number of crashes We believe this update will solve a large portion of the most commonly occuring game crashes, and the improvement in overall stability should make a big difference for many players. 2) Eliminate a network sync bug If you’ve been experiencing situations in multiplayer where it appears that you are taking damage from enemies through walls, you might have been the victim of a network sync bug. In this game update, we have identified and eliminated one such bug that caused this type of gameplay experience. We are continuing to work on more multiplayer optimizations concerning network performance. 3) Improve Network Smoothing We have made some improvements to the â€Network Smoothing†functionality that you can find in the OPTIONS>GAMEPLAY menu. The Network Smoothing slider governs a group of settings that aim to produce a tighter multiplayer experience based on your specific packet loss situation. If you’ve been experimenting with the Network Smoothing slider earlier, it might now yield better results. If you haven’t tried it before, please explore this setting and set it to the lowest value you can without experiencing graphical glitches in the game. By setting it lower, you can get a tighter multiplayer experience, depending on your specific network situation. More details upcoming Besides the above mentioned focus areas, this PC game update contains a number of other fixes and tweaks that we will detail once it’s live. This game update for PC goes live around 10AM UTC/2AM PST November 14. Your Origin Client should acknowledge and automatically download this update for you, as usual. Otherwise, you can right click your game in the client and select â€Check for Updateâ€. There will be a Battlelog maintenance downtime for about an hour as this update goes live. During this time multiplayer on PC will be unavailable. We will release full patch notes for this game update later, but the three items mentioned above are by far the most important changes in this update. We understand that stability has been rocky for some players, and hope that this update will make the game run smoother and more stable for you. Let us know in the comments below.

UPDATE #7 (Nov 12): Server Update R8 rolling out We recently deployed the R8 Server Update. It should be propagating throughout servers in the upcoming hours. You can find the change notes below. R8 Update Notes: *Fixed a number of dog tags that were showing up as blank in-game. *Lowered the damage caused by Mobile AA Active Radar missiles to aircraft. The previous damage was incorrectly set too high. *Improved server crash reporting and performance tracking on all platforms. This should further help us identify and fix server crashes going forward. So, doesnt look like much help for out problems.

UPDATE #4 (Nov 6): R7 Server Update Rolled Out We just rolled out a new server update for Battlefield 4 that should fix some of the most common server crashes across all platforms. Let us know if this patch improves server stability for you. Patch notes below: -Fixed two of the most common server crashes (All platforms) -The "admin.say" command should now work properly (PC) -The "vars.preset" command should now work better in conjunction with other vars settings (PC) (It is now easier for server admins to set a server preset) -Fixed a bug in the queue system regarding GUID (PC) -Fixed various minor bugs (PC) UPDATE #3 (Nov 4): Fixing server crashes New server update (R6) was rolled out across all platforms to fix the most common server crash. UPDATE #2 (Nov 3): Fixing the server queues on PC We're rolling out a server update on PC with a fix for the join queue. As this new server version starts to populate servers, you will notice that server queues on PC will be available again in Battlefield 4. Note that it might take some time before the majority of PC servers are equipped with this fix (up to 24h). UPDATE #1 (Nov 3): Server crashes We have identified an issue where the game server will crash and disconnect players, causing them to lose any stats gathered during that specific round. We have a fix in progress to address this issue in a server update and will let you know once it's ready to roll out. Since the launch of Battlefield 4, some fans playing online have been experiencing various issues with the game. Thanks to your feedback, many of these problems have been resolved, but there are still a number of bugs that we are actively working on. Below you will find a list of some of the resolved issues, as well as some of the issues we are prioritizing at the moment and what we’re doing to address them. Game crashes and freezes ELIMINATED AS WE IDENTIFY THEM Players on all formats have been experiencing game crashes and freezes while playing. We have logs of the most frequently occurring client crashes, and we are actively working to Obliterate the cause of these crashes in upcoming updates. Note that crashes come in different types, and therefore this is technically not one single issue. There are two kinds of crashes and two types of updates that can address them: server-side updates that we can release on the fly (four of these have already been released since launch), and game client updates that require more in-depth testing and certification before they can go live. We have found and eliminated some of the server-side crashes on PC in our server updates. There is also a planned client update on PC in the near future where we are aiming to eliminate as many of the client-related crashes as possible. Progress in Multiplayer Lost INVESTIGATING Players have reported losing their progress in multiplayer. This is probably related to crashes stopping the game reports from being sent to Battlelog. We are still investigating this issue in more detail. Note that your progress sometimes can seem to be reset during server maintenance windows. In these cases, your stats will be just fine and reappear later. Single Player Save File Corrupted INVESTIGATING We are still investigating the issue of single player save files being corrupted for some players. If you have experienced this problem, please describe below the steps leading up to the save file being corrupted, your platform (PC, PS3 or X360), and when the issue occurred. If you’re on PC, please also list your OS and system specs. Miscellaneous Audio Bugs FIX UPCOMING We are aware of the issues with missing/corrupted audio in multiplayer and have created a fix for them. This fix is planned for release in the next PC client patch (see “Upcoming Updates†below.) Magazine Reload Bug on Normal FIXED On all platforms, some players were experiencing a bug when playing on Normal servers. The bug caused the reload setting to incorrectly mimic the behavior from Hardcore servers. This was fixed in our fourth and latest server update. Xbox 360 Missions not Working as Intended FIXED There was a bug preventing Xbox 360 players from creating MISSIONS. This should now work properly, as we made some necessary changes to the backend infrastructure. Battlefield 4 Premium “Reset Stats†Feature Not Working FIXED Server Queues not Functioning FIXED Promotional Battlepack Items Not Appearing In-game and/or on Battlelog INVESTIGATING We are aware of this issue, and are working on a solution for it. Note that in some cases the Battlepack items will actually show up after a delay. If you’re still not seeing your items after 12 hours or so, please reach out to EA Help athttps://help.ea.com/en/battlefield/battlefield-4 [help.ea.com]. What’s Next? Upcoming Updates We are working on a PC client patch at the moment and hope to release it soon. We will share the patch notes once we have the patch contents finalized. The main focus is to fix as many crashes as possible, starting with the issues affecting a large number of players. We will update you once we are ready to release new server updates. We are currently working on server update #5, with four being released so far. Keep the Gameplay Feedback Coming! We are hearing your feedback regarding gameplay balance and other tweaks to classes and weapons, and are actively discussing these with the designers. One subject that’s been generating a lot of feedback is the controller layout in Battlefield 4. An in-depth look at the controller options in Battlefield 4 is published on the Battlefield Blog at http://blogs.battlefield.com/ [blogs.battlefield.com]. Thanks for your Patience We would like to thank all players who have been reporting their issues to us – your feedback is invaluable when making sure we can deliver the Battlefield 4 experience you all deserve. In true DICE fashion, we will keep supporting Battlefield 4 for a long time, and we appreciate your feedback and patience as we work these issues out.

Too bad it takes like 100 hours in BF4, to do what it took 500 hours in BF3. -
R5 and R6 are out. R5 fixed the server queues R6 is supposed to fix crashing (and so far seems to be working). This is a limited launch to see how it affects servers. Should be fully implemented soon. Not all Servers are running R6. Be patient Edit: While Crashes seem to be much less prevalent, Rubber-banding has been an issue. Not sure if it's R6.
