very nice screen WiZiD . big screen lots of $$$ tho but you got your rig from NASA It can handle it with a breeze . I think i'm going to try a 24 screen i have a 285 GTX Nvidia vid card .

just online all monitor's these days all widescreen ? thinking on getting a new one today any suggestions ? seen a 23.6 " samsung 2ms response for $179.99 , $50.00 off . been 5 years since i looked at them and they are all wide screens .

Thanks everyone for helping me . With the help of RustyrRIfle & CobraBites this afternoon we got the hard drive outta the old machine and put it in my gaming computer .found it to still be good and the downloaded it to my gaming computer . now i still have my 57 GB of pictures and 13 GB of music a total over 100 GB . the pics and music i'll put on disc and the make my wife happy and download it all to a new computer .as i write this i am listing to my music . THANK YOU ALL MUCH APPRECIATED . thought i'd post picture of the transfusion :hrhr: that's the old 10 year old hard drive hanging outta my computer .

well put new IDE cable on dose not do anything different .

Well got the 30 gb hard drive identified in bios but when i go to install windows xp on it says UNKNOWN DEVICE .and when i reboot with caps ,scroll and numbers lights on , then hold alt while entering keys e,f,b it reboots and message for hard drive is PRIMARY HARD DISC DRIVE 0 FAILURE .

well not much into the computer lang but failed data cable you mean IDE cause i was on line and some people fixed theirs with new IDE cable . how does a cable fail ? sorry had to edit but not stock . 1 gig ram and different power supply years ago . not sure if anything o ya vid card ati 850 something or other , but this is years ago ? yep that link is the same dell 4550 . not sure what you mean gaming box ? i'm typing from other computer ?

i have a 30 GB also on this computer i'm having problems with the other HD is 120 GB which has the windows XP installed on it as well as all photos , e-mail etc . can I use the other 30 GB HD or do I have to buy the portable (external) ? if i remember there's not much if anything on my 30 GB HD .
