Dean & Widowmaker: If you want to speed up your disabilty claims you should get all you medical data from you insurance company (usually online) and turn in to SS and your pension personnel. The insurance company has all your visits, test results and other data needed. Otherwise you will spend months answering questions and making repeated trips to different offices for the same BS things. If you are able to download all you data, turn it into the SS and Pension offices at the same time as they are really cross checking with each other and that delays your claims. I have been approved state disability for my depression issues but am still waiting for SSI Disability answer! i agree ron. but one thing is that us as admins we are doing the best we can. i'm fighting for the same cause you are. when a hacker leaves as soon as a admin comes in we have no proof. if you or any one see's a hacker please get a video and post it or get with an admin with it and something would be done about it. as for the anti camp, the no's have it, but don't know why it is still on. i do feel the way you do on that ron. p.s. do get a video and something will be done. , widowmaker

Everyone seems to have gotten into a uproar over this and its no big deal, no one is telling anyone how to play their game! I camp and I run and gun, if I am camping then I will freaking move a few feet or run out and then back in where I was w/e you know. BOOMER>>>>>OK ...I will say this only once..when I started playing this game on this site I was advised that I could play anyhow I chose as long as I didn't spawn kill, hack or otherwise cheat. There is no way you can play a whole mod without getting killed and you can't cry when you do. I watch the very good players r&g and get killed or kill about every 1.3-1.6 seconds continually (hence the high scores and deaths) I play mostly one handed and usually am hiding with a sniper rifle..in faster games a silenced G36 and c4..also hiding because I cannot move fast or steadily. I am not moaning as that is the only way I can play. I checked and camping was a part of the game, but not oblivious of taunts and whines, but still legal to do so. I know I can't play otherwise so I announced that I would cease to attempt lengthy times on the ACE mod because of the restrictions placed on me by the anti-camping. I am not whining, just explaining to the players of my situation. If I DO NOT move I get killed and if I attempt r&g I last 1-2 seconds...so what is the point of doing that to increase YOUR totals. I know I cannot win many mod ventures so play for ratio, and happy with that outcome. I can understand if you don't like the mode of play I use and have no intentions of being the poster boy for moaning and whining. All I have said is I can't change my play and would not play on the ACE server very much, if any, in the future because of it. People say camper when it is sniper...camper when it is called stealth and guile...camper when they get shot two three times coming after the same person. Camping when they get you..and good kill when you get them. R&G to me is like when the cowboys lay under the wagons with a winchester and the indians ride around like targets at the county fair grounds shooting arrows. Being a Marine from 1964 - 1970 taught me to be realistic in firing and being fired at...not those BS war movies you often see. Best I can tell you is to watch FULL METAL JACKET...and that is how I play. 'NUFF SAID ON THIS. +1

Venery i dont like the change....i like that it calls you a camper, cause its funny....but to sit still and die is just not realistic....guys like ron barcardi just wont be able to play....and i like him in the game, cause it brings a variety to game play.......how bout, doing something about the unrealistic bunny hopping. in real life no-one i ever shot at jumps....they just run. i suspect the timer was put in place to discourage camping on spawn points and killing spawners. make the setting in ace mod the same as in freezetag...where you can actually move away from the spwan point before coming into view to other players for a few seconds..,...that should fix that. agreed! now having two acemods sounds like a good idea. atleast i will have a place i enjoy playing in. at the moment i don't. i keep trying ace every once and a while, but can't seem to play a full map with out getting annoyed. so i just leave. having 2 acemods i'd vote for that.

Arrienn Well I have tried out the new camp timer in the server. First map was a smaller one and it worked out great. Can hang around a bit in this place or that and move on. I am one who camps more than runs and guns but can and will do both depending on the map. That being said, I do not like the change on the whole. This is why: Timer is perfect on the smaller maps and ones with lots of different paths to run that are not wide open for the whole map to see. However, every map on the mod does not fall under that. You get to a good sniper map and the timer goes to shit. There are a few really awesome sniper maps that are just flat out crap with the timer in place. So, unless we plan to take all sniper maps from the mod I think the change is not a very good one. My 2 cents... well said Arrienn

SPUCK It is very hard to snipe in Acemod. I don't think this artificial game spoiler should be included in the game. This is a war game. It's about problem solving and solution finding. The idea is to win. There are many ways to win. You have to pick the right way depending on the crowd that's present, in the map, at the moment. Sometimes you need to snipe to win sometimes you need to run-an-gun. Sometimes you have to focus on eliminating snipers to win. This is what WAR is about. It is a free-flowing, free-form, puzzle that requires fast thinking on your feet. It sucks me in. It's exciting. Dynamic. Multi-dimensional. Adding some external function that blocks one facet of the game reduces the entire game - dramatically. It's like taking one tire off a car. You may still be able to drive it but you probably will never be able to go fast or turn in a certain direction any longer. Same with any artificial limit on this game. You are essentially saying snipers shouldn't be here. That wasn't the intent of the creators of this game. They provided claymores to protect snipers. They provided multiple sniper weapons to choose from. Why are we essentially nixing this dimension? Are we nixing it for the run-an-gunners? I don't want to just play a run and gun game. That's too much like a zillion other games. That's like Pong or Mario Brothers. (There are members who are in far away, higher ping, places who can only snipe.) If you're going to nix sniping, (and I snipe with the M14 and G3 which is now impossible), why are we allowing claymores? Why noob tubes? Why C4? C4 - throw it in the air while hopping and it kills everyone in that direction on the map!! How is that as rational as sniping? Those things are all annoying in their own way, but conversely, they present challenges that make this a fun thinking game. I have tried the anti-sniping and I humbly request it be removed. agreed!!! thanks spuck thats what i was trying to say.

Sonovabich I think it is a bit harsh on the snipers, i never snipe i'm crap at it but with the Ace mod being so fast it must be really hard for snipers to get a kill anyway, i would think the best chance of a kill a sniper gets in Ace is shooting another sniper or a regular camper. agreed! so why do we have the camp warning? i guess if you complain and whine enough you get your way. as long as your not spawn camping whats big problem. it's a kill or be killed game. i camp, snipe, and run n gun, and i'm never in the top 5 or 10. do i whine and complain no. i just like to have fun. the above statment is what my kind of fun is. the run and gunners are to hard to kill. but it's fun trying. sometimes i get lucky and hell that one run n gunner kill makes my day. i can play 4 or 5 maps and won't shoot 1 run n gunner, but when i do DAM its exciting. sorry to ramble on. i'll leave it at that.
