Your problem is the capacity of your RAID. RAID 0 was built to increase the speed. And WTH? Do you really have SAS drives in a desktop system? The FPS loss is not caused by your hard drive, it depends on the settings of your recording software and your GPU. The most programs allow 60 FPS, some good tools allow more. A good but time-consuming method is to use the ingame record command (/record f.e.) to your RAID. If you use this command, the file will be way smaller than a video file, because only the positions etc will be recorded as -let's say- coordinates. You can record your session later with a screen capture tool. With this method you don't have to worry about FPS losses and the problems they cause while you are playing.

I thought there was a proactive roll back from nvidia? I never got this driver announced by the updater and I have still ver 318 installed

@{BUG} Seven This is caused by the digital watches. lol But I agree to @@Damage_inc- We have a compass on the mini map and should use it. And if you play FT and you are frozen the hint "One on me" is ok. Maybe with an addition of her/his actual position at your location. "Behind the container"... Six, 10 etc is useless as nobody knows where you are actually looking at. Played with @CRUSHER on Saturday and his commands are very helpful. Sometimes a bit too much information but helpful.

The specs ate ok for surfing or playing some Flashgames. We recently had problems on some office PCs which became slow like hell. A benchmark showed that there was an HDD write speed down to 3MB per second. I checked the hardware - nothing. HDD ok, Board ok. I re-installed windows: BAM! 80MB per second. Oh, and I have a test running: Win 8.1 on a Notebook with a Centrino proc and 2GB RAM. Runs fast like hell! I didn't expect that. Win 7 was very slow on this machine..
