Nightmare i apologise for some of our trashy newspapers and the way they insult Germany and always try to bring comparisons about the war and Football, it is embarrassing to me and i would think most English/British people, they always suggest that there is some deep hatred between our two countries, yes you will still get that between rascist soccer hooligans and possibly some very old people who remember the war but as for the rest of the country not so, of course when there is a football match between England and Germany old rivalry's resurface but not hatred i don't think, jealousy probably about how your football team is nearly always better then ours (even at this world cup where we came in with high hopes and Germany not as high i think, now look where we both are) and jealousy about how you brew better beer then us (lol) and jealousy about how your country is probably still the most powerful country (economically) in Europe and jealous at how much cleaner the streets of your country are compared to our trash laden streets and jealous how you built numerous magnificent football stadiums for the 2006 world cup when it took us about 10 years to rebuild wembley at probably a higher cost then all your stadia put together but i think the thing we are really ticked off most in this country is how you always get the bloody sunbeds first on holiday ( that last one is a joke m8 ) We do a have respect for your football team and your players although we don't always like to admit it, Jurgen Klinsmann is on our BBC world cup panel now, he came to play in this country for Tottenham under a cloud of being a cheating diver etc but in his first match he turned all that around after his first goal when him and his teammates all dived into the corner flag as a joke, we changed our minds immediately, we like people who laugh at themselves and Klinsmann gave many years of pleasure watching his skills even to those who did'nt support Spurs, so as i said m8 just ignore the trashy newspaper headlines ( the Sun) we only buy them papers because they are cheap, we don't take much notice of what they have to say anyway.
