Firemarshall  i use the FTB mindcraft  you can update ftb but you dont really need to update Feed The Beast  unless your planning to update the server to the update just beware you can have draw backs from updating like my brother and I did we had to restart every thing cause we updated the server

We have seen some of that already but we have had some issues with server performance so the thought has been to maintain the latest builds of the mods in hopes for improvements.
