There has been a lobby for years for "Jerusalem" to be adopted as the anthem of England. Now, I bet that has many Americans totally baffled... All the constituent countries of the United Kingdom, of which England is just one, has its own anthem. However, outside the context of these games, ours isn't yet recognised. Here's a treat for you. The national hymn of England followed by the national anthem of the UK. Both always bring a tear to my eye! Astronomer 1 Awards
