Appears the PCIe 3.0 slot may have fried. Have tried several (working) video cards in that slot and it won't recognize any of them. Looks like I just got the excuse I needed to do an upgrade Nevertheless I may be down for a few days.... Awards

I had visions of having to do complete OS install and programs, games, etc. Nothing....it booted up, I installed the new motherboard chipset drivers and the new video card drivers and voila! Having said that, I'm sure my game play will be no better than before.... LOL Awards
