With Death Magnetic, I bought the vinyl lp and ripped it as a wave. The vinyl mix was not as compressed and limited as the CD. I remember people were ripping the DVD soundtrack also. Not a Bob Rock fan although...he didn't do a bad job playing Bass on Anger ......the newer albums sound good(Hardwired and 72 )but I like Flemming Rasmussen /Ride the lightning and Master as producer better than Rock....but please bring back analog !!
