I haven't found much issue with spawn camping...most of the issues I have is that planes tear my ass up and I need to learn to fly a lot better!

Call me what you want but the tubes are one of the main reasons that I started playing BF3...over half of my deaths every map are from random tubes from nowhere, through a wall or something else. I can take getting outgunned or killed by someone who is a better shot than me but to get killed by some tube from all of the way across the map randomly is just a bunch of shit. IMHO Sammy, I think you do a great job with the mod and have always praised you for it but rather than defending the tube on this one, can't we make an adjustment so it isn't SO strong? At least a trial run. You've heard many people tell you what is actually happening in the game yet you still don't believe them. Cobra, Pinky, myself, and many others who play the server all of the time have all been killed through a wall or from 40 feet away from where the tube lands, and unfortunately regardless of your stats, it happens. I don't know that having one item frustrate half of the players due to the overstrength of it is the best for the servers, is it? I'm sure the people that use the tubes constantly will hate lessening the effect because they'll actually have to aim now but so be it...I have to aim with my machine gun to hit you and with my grenades, they actually have to be placed properly. I say tone the power down by half on the tubes and leave the nades where they are. Just my personal opinion and ridicule all you want but most of who will say anything are tubers anyways and I already have my opinions on why you have to use one.

I bought the premium so I should be good to go. And SOB, I do expect to kick ass right away, not get mine kicked.

Hey all, I've only played FPS's for years, from Swat 4 to WAW to COD4 which is what I've been playing for years. I finally upgraded my cpu and vid card and would like to expand to a game that utilizes the cpu and new graphics. I was thinking BF3 was that but wanted everyone's feedback. First off, there is the standard version for $33.99 and the Premium version for $59.99. Which should I consider getting? Keep in mind, I'm a good COD4 player but haven't ever played this game so it will be completely new. Second, what tips would you have to acclimate me to the servers sooner/better? I obviously have a lot of gaming experience but this is a brand new game so any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks! Flushy

A fatality radius of 15 feet...these have a fatality radius a lot more than that. Just saying, if you want to use the real stats for an argument, then make the game stats similiar. I've never just had damage from 20 feet away, IMHO, they are WAY too powerful.

I actually went to the test server yesterday before going into the NY server...there were only 6 of us to start (Darth Yoda, Snake, Gump, etc.) and then it filled up real quickly. A lot of it is just getting people to know it's there and finally a good option. Especially non-XI who may not ever go to the forums. Good job guys and keep it up!!! Oh, and FU LLAMA!!! Flushy

I like this new server...it's a good change and i really like a couple of the new perks. The sentrynade cannon is awesome.

Could we PLEASE get two maps removed from the beta rotation? Arnhem is the first, everyone complains about it and how long it takes to play or even run from spawn. The second is the container map with no mini map...not much point in having a map if you don't have a mini map. Just my opinion but i'd like to get others to voice their opinion so we could maybe get these changed. Thanks, Flushy
