The Flush

This is just my opinion but the steyer aug is just stupid...we were playing gold islands (or something like that) and I was getting sniped from behind the hill over the other side of the bridge into our spawn, that is all of the way across the map. Keep in mind, that doesn't have a scope. Essentially they were just pointing in the general direction and it was hitting. When the aug snipes better than the swaying sniper rifles, something should be changed. The sway from the snipers should be removed or something changed on the aug. When a weapon is that unbeatable form near and far, why is there a reason to have any other weapons on the server?

If there is a top 5 for ragequitting, my homie Cobra has to be in it too...even though he technically says it's not a ragequit, "he's just gonna leave until this map is over".

Got it all loaded up and trying to learn...I suck so far. My name is The_Flush_XI. I'm not sure how to add anyone or join a group. Still trying to actually kill someone! lol

Is there a specific reason that nobody ever plays the beta? Every time I get on COD4, the Chi server is full and the beta is empty...I thought this was going to replace that but it seems like there isn't ever any traffic there. Just curious why that always happens...thoughts? Flushy

I do agree that 20 or 25 are more doable if kills are collected from all sources (guns, killstreaks added, etc.). Maybe that's something to consider but personally I think that is easier to get than 15 with gunkills only!

I understand that it ends the round but 25 killstreak? I have MAYBE seen that one time in the years I've played this game...I think that is absolutely unreasonable to expect people to get that. On the Chicago mod, the nuke is a POS...I was the last guy, used the nuke this morning and it did nothing but looked pretty. In the old days, a year or two ago, you'd get a nuke and it would end a round...My opinion is that is how it should be if you get 15 kills. What are everyone else's thoughts about that? I just think 25 is way too high Sammy. However, I'll obviously go with anything you decide. Thanks again for all of your hard work! PLayed the beta for a couple of hours today and I love it!!!

I know the suggestion has already been made but the 25killstreak super nuke needs to be reduced...I don't know that anyone has ever gotten 25 killstreak before, my best ever is 18. I think something like 15 or 17 would be a more realistic setting. Does anyone else have thoughts on this>? I'd personally like to see it once to see what it does!

I have heard the same thing about the crossbow...personally, I love some of the new weapons but the two complaints I hear most are that the old crossbow is gone and the sniper rifles sway badly again. Otherwise, I love the new mod...great job Sammy and Rugger!

Other things I've noticed... As Pink said, the car is too slow The sentry gun is a waste of a spot...it's worthless and only places when you die. Could it be pulled and a better perk put in its place? The new MK14 gun is badass, nice addition Google sucks...more of a general comment rather than a mod observation.

Server just crashed again...same map as Billy said before but this time it was gindexoverflow hat trick. It is on Beltlot...might have to pull that map. 2nd time it's happened, both in the 5th round.

Comm 64 as well...GI JOE was the best game ever back in the early 80's!

Like Billy said, props to you ruso...I sincerely wish you nothing but the best. We've all had some hard times that we've been through but the way I have always tried to view events in my life is with perspective...we will never be given something we can't handle. I'm 36 years old and I have been through some times that I honestly can't believe I made it through. My daughter being on her deathbed when she was born 13 weeks early and weighing only 2 pounds, a divorce after I found out my wife was having an affair with one of my good friends and starting a company from nothing basically living below poverty for quite some time to end up making it successful and coming out on top. Life will always hand you challenges and knock you down...what makes you who you are is when you can get back up. You are young and have your whole life, a long one, ahead of you. You will find true love and that woman will truly love you for who you are, not what they want you to be or to try and change you. You will be able to be yourself and she herself with you. Maybe some day you will have children who will become your pride and joy and you will live vicariously through them as you'll be old and washed up like me. Your family and friends love you and with their support, you made it through this...always remember that. Never miss a chance to tell them how much they mean to you and remember how much you mean to them. Congrats on beating this and good luck to you in the future bud. Flushy

I was playing yesterday and the 'scrambled minimap' carried over to the next map we played... I haven't been on there since to see if my minimap was back yet. What was odd was that Pitbullpete was the person who had the original problem on a map (scrambled minimap opposite team from me). Then when we started on the next map, he and I and another person (sorry I forgot) all had the scrambled minimap right from the start of round 1. It never went away the entire map (2-5 or something like that final score). I quit after that map. The mod seems similar to me. I seemed it was easier to kill everyone. One bullet from anything and you were dead or killed the other person. Personally I don't like the fact the RC car can not jump now. I wish it could. I do really like the green trail behind a friendly one however. One thing I would like to see is the return of the very powerful predator missle from the first version of COD4 MW2. The current version is weak and not worth using. I have not seen a predator in the beta yet. I hope the earn the kill streak so I can. I earned the predator today and it just drops straight down...you can't even aim it. Pretty worthless. I 2nd the like for the green trail behind a friendly car.

Hey ruso, glad to hear things are getting better for you... I've never thought about ending everything as I realize that everyone goes through hard times but I also strongly believe that we are never given more than we can handle. In a 6 year period, I went through the premature birth of my daughter (3 months early, 2 pounds at birth and was given a 50/50 chance to live for the first three weeks of her life), my first dog dying, my grandpa dying on my 30th birthday, divorce, lost my job, started my own company while struggling financially for several years. FINALLY, I reached the end of that stretch and life became a blessing! The key is to perservere and know that you have many people that love you and care about you no matter what you are going through!!! There are always things in life that make you question WHY or WHY ME. My daughter was in the hospital for 3 months after she was born until I could take her home. WHY did everyone else get healthy kids and I didn't? WHY did they all get to bring their kids home after a few days and I didn't. Looking back, I realize the answer now...BECAUSE I COULD HANDLE IT! It made me a stronger person and a better father. I see people sending their kids off to watch tv or play games for hours on end without spending any time with them personally and it makes me feel sorry for them. They take their kids for granted and don't know what a true gift they have...my tough time with Lauren being in the hospital and almost not living helped me appreciate her so much more! I also treasure my wife more than she will ever know. After being in a terrible relationship and getting a divorce due to her infidelity, I had a hard time trusting women for quite a long time. As I learned that not every woman was like my ex-wife, I also learned to open my heart up again and that is when I met Sarah. I was a goner from the first time I saw her and within 8 months proposed. Life has never been better. I will tell you that at my lowest point, I went to see a therapist because I just simply felt as though I would never make it out of the hole I was in. I wasn't ever diagnosed with depression but it was very hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The thing to remember is that you are VERY young and haven't even gotten to live your life yet. School is a terrible time for many kids and socially, kids can be very mean because there aren't any punishments given out any longer. Bullies get away with teasing you, kids are mean just to be "cool" to other kids and the "unpopular" kids like many of us probably were have a very difficult time through high school. I hated high school and hated most of the kids in my class...then I went to college and had the best 4 years ever. Turned a new leaf, decided that I was going to make friends and just enjoy the experience and things were great! Life will ALWAYS hit you when you don't expect it, the key is to ALWAYS get back up and hit back. Again, you have people that love and care about you and always remember that you are important to them. Congrats on starting a new chapter of your life and know that the pain of your past will go away as you move forward...remember that if you look forward, anything can happen but you can never change what happened behind you!!! For some reason I always hear people talk about trying to make fancy meals for family when they come over...I simply stick with my grill or smoker and it never fails. We had everyone over last weekend for a party and I went with a "party food" theme. I did a beer brat bath with onions and Old Mud (works great for beer brats, not for drinking ) and then my famous char-grilled wings. I put a slight cook on them on the grill, move them to the smoker for about 20 minutes and then back to the grill in some of my homemade wing sauce. 2nd picture is the after on some the wings. Everything disappeared VERY quickly which is a shame, it's always nice to have leftovers for the cook!

Rugger said on the last page that the fixes are in place but the car is still way slow...it also won't jump and not sure if it climbs, haven't tried yet. That was the best part of it because you could bring your team back by defrosting many with it due to the speed. If it is slow, can't jump or climb it's a wasted perk that nobody will ever use. Everything else seems to be working great though...great job Sammy and Rugger! Flushy
