I made it by going back to the old hd and saving the driver to my Slim-Jim ssd external and then switched back to the new SSD and installed the drivers that way! Thanks guys for all the help. I used to do this stuff somwhat but after having a nervous breakdown I can't remember a lot of it so I hope you all understand!

I had just reinstalled to old hd to come back and ask if that may be tom problem. Now can I just get the wifi driver first and then get connected and do the rest? as this is wearing me out going back and forth.

Yes I did and do! For some reason though it's not recognizing it right now. I think I know what to do now so I am going to try it and see. If not I will be back!

I know I am beginning to sound like a broken recording but I am getting desperate! I got my new SSD hard drive and installed it. I then installed Windows 10 Pro because that is what I have on this one. I am doing this because of the virus I got from somewhere that I simply can't get rid of. So I went to connect to the internet and the one option I have here is WIFI doesn't show in the options. I am stumped and need some good advice on how to set it up and turn it on. I also need to set up my sound where it recognizes my TV as a speakers option. That doesn't show up in that options as well.

Okay guys be easy on an old tenderfoot. I got my SSD band when I went to install I ran into a definite size problem. Sounds like Morris doesn't it. Well I don't have any thing that I can adapt my SSD to the regular hard drive rack. Tell me what would you do at this juncture? I really appreciate all your input.

Yes there is a bug of somekind on my new hard drive which Windows Defense finds but no one else. They can't tell where it is or exactly what is is part of so I can't remove it. So I simply want to put in a new SSD -

Nope! This is a new computer! I already have an external ssd and it works well. My main reason for this is that virus I talked about on another post is back and I want to set up this new ssd as my main. I may need some advise on that procedure. -
I am looking into a SSD and find some 5TB for fairly good deals. Before I get one tho I would like your opinions!

I don't know what we did but after you left and I went to safe mode to try once more it just quit finding it! Whatever happened I just want to thank you for your efforts! I am one happy camper this morning knowing the bear is gone. lol

It's a brand new machine that I just changed the power supply and vc. The old pc is sitting on the floor under the table.

My Windows 10 was preinstalled at the assembly plant. I don't even have or ever had Diablo and probably never will.

I have done both of these yet Defender is still saying these exist on my pc somewhere. I just finished Hitman pro and it found only tracking cookies. Now what?

I keep getting this and Windows Defender simply cannot seem to take care of it for me. I looked on line but no one seems to speak in laymans terms anymore so I decided to see if my super idiots can help me!

I changed out the power supply and the video card and am on said computer as I write this. It seems to be working as I desired so until further events I say this is closed. Kapt I was in fact sitting there with it tore apart but as I began the putting it back together I had to tear it apart and put it back together about 10 times before I finally had all the wires hooked up I needed. I am remembering better all the time but still quite foggy!

This pc I am referring about only has 1028 bits of memory. I need 2 tb. I play World of Warcraft and I also have another game I want to play(No Mans Shy) that needs the extra memory just to play the game with no clicks as you play!
