voice chat problem

I had the same problem with my mic a month or so ago. How old is the mic your trying to use? Mine was about 8 months old and it wouldn't seem to work in game, but outside it worked fine. Check the mic jack. If your mic isn't a USB mic the jack probably isn't working right. What I had to do was go out and buy a USB mic and plug it in the back to the USB jack. Maybe that is the problem you are having. -
