Good grief, alol this drama for the flu shot. I am in radiology and our company offers flu shots and it's not mandatory. Some years I have them, some years I don't. To be honest it's if I'm available for them or not. If you get it or don't that's your choice. There are certainly many pros and cons on both side and in healthcare, you should acknowledge that which she doesn't. Now I'm not advicating the flu shot but the reason behind is as reasonable as her own. It's not to protect the healthcare worker as she is worried about but to protect the patient. As ice queen would probably agree, patients have compromised amune systems and more people die from simple flu and pneumonia in hospitals than anything else. So this is a coin toss, but I agree, it should be a personal choice.
