I'm sorry to hear that....been there,done that, too many times ...family pets ARE part of the family a multi-species family ,so to speak,a friend who's always there happy to see you and be there and to talk to....I recently had to do the same with my best friend of 17 years, my cat Mr. Smalls.he was an indoor outdoor cat and had a full and eventful life,using all 9 of his lives to stay with us for as long as he could until kidney failure got him.....Your friend (family member)sounds like he had a good life.....but...when I read the title....I thought you were talking about EastCoast50 LOL and thought it was about time.... here's some pics of one of the coolest cats ever ! \m/ this last one was only a month until ....

wow ! summer of 79 visiting my cousins in Cali. They put this on...first rap song I ever heard...I was like wha !!
