jeez i think we must all be a bunch of losers for getting hurt so much...wtf bragging point don't mean shyte once you get older...they are now just reasons to be miserable and complain..as if we need reasons....

hmmm worst pain ever let me think about it.... 7 knee surgeries..that sucks for sure but really not so bad. Dislocated both shoulders..nasty for sure when they pop in. Dislocated right ankle and tore ligaments...on crutches for 8 weeks...hurt like hell when blood rushes down there. Dislocated other ankle playing basketball and rolled it off another guys foot...looked down and it was at right angle till it pooped back in... that sucked too. All minor stuff compared to tearing a groin muscle. Now that is some serious pain and for a long time. Has never been 100%. Had n ingrown toe nail once that sucked. lol Fell down the stairs carrying my new born son and landed on my tail bone..snap. Frig that hurt for quite a while. Son was fine. Broken rib...yup it is for sure nasty. Can't do anything with it. just don't sneeze or laugh..... Now that I'm older my body reminds me most days of all these sports related injuries....sucks getting old.

unless there is a patch in last 1-2 months I beleive I have the most current patches as I was running the game fine until about 6 weeks ago.

Games will run in single player In multi-player everything is fine until i select Join a game. Then is gives me the error. Does it run in window's mode..dont friggin know what you are asking and what would that have to do with Iw3mp.exe? Just doesnt feel that this is taking down the right path based on everything I have researched. Sorry not trying to be rude....do appreciate help.

now when I try to open the gaame is just gives me a black screen and I need to use task manager to close it........

still no luck. Should I just re-install the game? Frig I hope not!

I am running Windows 7 64 bit

I am unable to get to the point of selecting a server to play.... freezetag or other.

So I removed the file Iw3sp.exe from my Call of Duty 4 folder and then copied in the suggested download. There is a difference in the file names so I thought that was odd. Download was Iw3mp.exe. I gather these two exe files are not the same and have different functions? I could not find, even running a search, a Iw3mp.exe on any of my drives. COD4 use to work fine so I don't understand why this is happening. I am able to open the game all the way to selecting the server to play then it crashes. before options are shown. Any help would be appreciated.

Where do I find the old or existing Iw3mp.exe file to replace it with the downloaded provided?

I am able to get into the game menu from a short cut on my desktop. I can go into the various options, e.g. create a class etc. without problem. I only get an error when I try to join a game.

any other suggestions as neither of these worked or I messed up trying. This surely isn't rocket science...... Been trying to fix for about 4 weeks now.

Anyone know how to resolve the error message Iw3mp.exe error I keep getting that prevents me from playing COD4? Tried a few suggested solutions on Youtube but wih no success....
