  1. I'm with Harry on this. I suppose it is much like utilizing the mute function in the game when the conversation or individual becomes annoying...I/we could just stop looking at the forums if the content is not of ones liking. That too is a matter of choice. We are extremely fortunate that we, as members and perhaps non-member, have the ability to express ones self in a way that is perhaps offensive or not so much to others. Given the alternative I support ones rights to speak freely even when I believe it is offensive or vulgar or perhaps even sometimes informative. The decision is mine to act in the way I am most comfortable with without restricting others their right to act as they do. However, do not cross the line towards personal attacks or criticisms as this then is 100% unacceptable. Respect others at all times. Just my perspective.

  10. Like most of you, I have had a number of jobs. I am a engineer by schooling and initially started out designing production lines for the food industry, (chunky soup, prego spaghetti sauce etc.). It was really diverse and challenging. From there someone saw that I had some skills and I progressively moved through the management ranks primarily in operations and got a reputation as a turn around guy for businesses that were loosing money and were very inefficient. Tons of pressure and not always the best of working conditions. I assure you you don't make too many friends in that line of work but it was one heck of a learning experience. Left doing that and ran manufacturing operations for the office products industry. Did that for about 10 years but the 7/24 environment and the phone never stopped ringing kinda wore me out. Thought I would take a break and do some consulting and realized I was working harder than ever. Dah... what a idiot I was. With a bit of being in the right place at the right time I found my current job. Being doing it for about 11 years now and am the VP of Operations for Canada for a multi-national company here in Toronto. Retirement should be in the future but honestly after 38 plus years work is still fun...and heck they pay me pretty well at the same time.....
  11. Welcome to the asylum....

  13. that's a young mans car isn't it?

  15. mixed feelings as more difficult to thaw folks and increases ones exposure seemingly to be the thawer....(new word) can flow with the majority on this.....
  16. Hey...... I was going to stop there to be consistent with me being relatively quiet most of the time in the server but apparently that is not really the point of an introduction. Been playing freeze tag for a few years now and signed up to this website back in April of 2014. Time sure flies. Like many of you I started playing when Metal of Honor and Days of Defeat first came out. There's something to date oneself..... The rest is history including most of the Call of Duty games. Married 35 years, two grown kids who are smarter and certainly better looking and likely, based on their current journeys, will be very successful in life. Most important they are just really good people..... most proud of that. I'm not retarted, sorry, retired yet and frankly not sure retirement is my thing. I am a executive at a multi-national company and am based here in Toronto Canada. Pretty stressful and challenging most days so I really find playing freeze tag is a nice escape from reality. I can actually ignore people and mute them if I find them annoying...... can't really do that in the real world...lol Where did Wacky come from..... I coached baseball for 18 plus years at various competitive levels and gained a reputation of being aggressive on the bases and pushing the window of logic. Not surprising, players and umpires occasionally called me wacky and so it has stuck. Nothing more than that sorry to say.....kinda of dull if you asked me. Any way, I enjoy playing most nights except when I keep getting my ass kicked. Even at age 58 there is a competitive spirit in me that hates to lose... My mind thinks its 20 and my body says I'm 90.. with trifocals glasses and aching joints......wtf. See you in game.... P.S. Please ban bunny hopping.....
  17. Glad things went well...be careful of those pain killers they can easily be a crutch before you know it...personal experience sharing ..... Oh ya...remember one word...fibre. lol
  18. Breathing is a little over rated but still pretty important. Hope you are alright.....

  22. well done..it's a journey....
