I have owned New and Old cars. I cant afford new cars so thats when I flush. If I get a new car... I will never ever ever ever need to flush like my 89 Accord. The engine was perfect. Not a spot of tarnish. Zero reason to flush. People that neglect their engines may need to flush. Some cars have seals that.. the so called FLUSH.. is nothing but diesel fuel with more detergents in it. Im not putting diesel fuel in my engine. That is old old school. We learned to change our oil every 3000 so that is not necessary.

lol ^^^^^^ assholes.... As for engine flush... I use Automatic Transmission fluid. Replace one quart and let it run. Some drive on it but not necessary just get her nice and hot and run it for a while. Then drain and flush with new oil and then change oil and filter. The high detergents used to keep the Automatic Transmission clean do a great job on an engine. And I dont want to wait till debris is in my car.. note. Preventive.. not reactive.

It's just a fact about Synthetic.. the moicules are perfect and small. My car was old and some fuck over tighned my drain plug once causing the drip. Not going to retap or replace my drain plug just to run synthetic for it a good thing to put in older cars for any reason. Not good to change the weight and sometimes oil brands as well. I change my own oil and I would never feel comfortable leaving OIL in my cars for 50,000 miles. Gas enters the oil due to the combustion which help cause viscosity changes. Does Amsoil break down in that environment maybe not but I like the dirt and gas removed from my oil. I have only had one car to ever have engine problems and it was my fault. I changed from 5w30 to 10w30... big mistake as I blew a rod. Don't change your oil weight. Keep in it what comes with it unless a new car. Then change your oil to synthetic. With cars it is everything else that breaks not the engine itself unless you abuse it due to lack of maintenance or other stupid shit like I did.
