    I've used cheap headphones with mic before the ones with just one ear piece and i found that my new gaming headset is way more better to use i find its much easier to hear the game and people talking than my old ones in the past. i found it harder to hear on game with noise in the background interrupting. one i have now is both Jack and USB plugin, its an AfterGlow. Was hard to get working at first but now i don't think i would switch to a different kind of headset or headphones.

    I had to go into Device manager and uninstall it then re-install. seems to work now,lol dunno for how long tho. too much work for such a simple thing. Thanks

    @@Nisty* how would i go about re installing the software? it didn't come with a disk or anything just plug in

    yea i've tried everything but doesn't seem to work. in the instructions it also says something like " in order to use the headset for both game audio and chat simultaneously i need a RCA audio Adapter but i don't have those plugs in my computer. im stuck ,lol

    Just bought a new headset today got it all plugged in i can hear from them and hear myself talk but can't talk in game and i can't seem to see it in my windows settings . when i first plugged them in the were installing what ever but then said it didn't successfully install yet i can hear everyone in game clear and hear myself talk but i can't seem to talk in game or anywhere else. I hope i didn't waste money on these, anyone know what i can do?
