  1. Hey Weed, Happy Birthday! Lazy
  2. I got a pair of those as a Christmas party gift from my company. For $300.00 headphones you could do a whole lot better. My Sennheiser and Grado cans easily beat them.
  3. try google, they know more about the Rothschilds than anyone, https://skeptoid.com/episodes/4311
  4. Hey Bug, only 11 more to go! Nice pics, BTW.
  5. Which game, if I might ask?
  6. Holy speedy, Batman. Just remember to keep your wife on wireless G so she doesn't hog it all up.
  7. Was she parked in a handicapped spot?
  8. Ahh, the sweet perfume of burnt hair, it smells like fuchsias.
  9. Did you seriously put this add in the paper yourself?
  10. Hmm, I think there are more men in Greenwich Village that meet that description than there women in the world. I wonder how many women are interested in a frog leg eating, fuchsia gardener anyway. OK, I get it, I re-read every other line, chicken <return> breasts might work better then frogs<return>legs
  11. Howling my ass off!
  12. Here in New York, Dogs are allowed to smoke and ride skate boards in Central Park after 9PM.
  13. What game was he banned for? I am sure that you post it and his current in game name the admins will take the appropriate action.
  14. She could have parked that thing in a bicycle rack. Why take up a handicap spot!
  15. Wow the view over Long Island is beautiful!
  16. Hey Bug, You're dad looks like he has a nice collection of ribons and medals. Care to share how he earned them? Lazy
  17. I use a steinburg/yamaha audio interface, but only because I use a cardiod mic. I have a lot of background noise where I live. But that is an entirely different issue.
  18. Then you don't need an extenal amp. Like I said, the sound blaster will do fine for music. Just get the lower ohm Beyers, AKGs, Senns, etc and you will be good to go!
  19. I'm not against the Creative sound card, but I don't know if the amp they supply with it is any good. For music you could use the Focusrite and a lower ohm headphone, or if you want a lower noise floor (higher ohm phones) then get an amp. For gaming get the Sound Blaster card, it will work for music too. I just don't know if you will want to upgrade the amp. What you want in the end is good sound processing, good amplification and good headphones. But you don't need to buy it all at once. Like I said, it is modular and can be done piece meal. The good things about a nice set of cans is that they will outlive your PC by many years, and can switched from your old obsolete computer to your sparkling new one.
  20. That explains New York City, it was founded by the Dutch.
  21. What are using for sound now? And what do you want the headphones for? Just gaming, or gaming plus music, or music plus late night gaming? You can always just get the headphones plus amp and then upgrade the sound card later.
  22. The SoundBlaster cards are popular among gamers, audiophiles tend to like the Asus Xonar ones. I don't know about the amp, but that can probably be replaced down the line if it needs to be. Also, audiophile headphones only have one speaker per ear, two channel, so you don't need 7.2 surround, etc. unless you are hooking up speakers. Of course the other option would be to go with lower impedance cans, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0126HISOO/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=
  23. You can always add a nicer sound card or external audio later, the kit is all modular. The higher end or professional grade stuff tends to last longer than the "made for gamers" models as well. I paid $200.00 for my headphones 15 or 16 years ago and they still sound fantastic.
  24. Surf around http://www.head-fi.org/, there are tons of recommendations for headphones and amps at every price point. If you think PC overclockers are nuts, they look tame compared to the guys who buy $50,000.00 analogue stereos, including $100.00 a foot speaker wire, to listen to their old vinyl.
