I don't want a realistic bf, not any more so then previous bf hardcore modes at least. I'd hop in a game of insurgency for a bit more sim. -No friendly tags, which is quit stupid in bf. On foot it is doable to see who's friendly and who's not but almost impossible in a plane. Just make it so only enemies have no tags, like before. -60hp or 200% bullet damage, either one is fine. -No big map, which is also idiotic. Renders a lot of gadget completely useless. In previous titles I used the big map quit a bit to get a better overview. Oh and mortar without people spotting is shit as well -probably some other things I forgot now that I don't like I don't mind snipers or shotguns, those guns where always powerful in previous bf games and do have big downsides. Just get a proper rent-a-server programme and admins could limit snipers. Tanks are meant to be powerful, though it still takes the same amount of damage to destroy as normal mode. Just as previous bf games So just give us a proper kill feed, friendly troop indicators and a big map and I'll be happy. Basically make it bf4 hardcore ^^ Edit: Forgot to mention, some of the above points can be adjusted and made more like bf4. Though that'll make it a custom server, and we know from bf4 how that went. People don't find it easy, so getting it full is a problem.

Damn, played a bit of hardcore and boy does it suck. This is a bad joke by dice Though it is possible to make things a bit better, if one customises some settings for a hc server. Problem with that is, the server will list as custom instead of hardcore and thus harder to find.. Now there are even more things on the 'soon' list. I rather have all the bf4 launch problems than this half ass game

Yep they fucked up the rent a server, for now. Read in some tweets things like kick/ban are coming soon™.. I just can't understand how they could fuck this up, renting a server worked fine for all previous bf titles. Well, back to playing in random servers and keep on waiting for proper servers. Took bf4 about a year to become an awesome game, so there is still hope

Today the patch dropped for bf1. Dice hasn't released the patch notes yet, but they said they will release them soon.. Weapon changes from this patch can be found on Symthic though. Also read that hc servers are available, but can't confirm myself since i am off to work Hope they finally released hc servers and the rent-a-server.

Read on multiple websites servers and more will be released on the 16th of november, hardcore is still coming 'soon' though.

A lot of bf4 servers are empty now, make sense since almost everyone is trying bf1. I'd go back if they fuck up hardcore mode. Wouldn't surprise me, lot of the normalmode community is whining about balance in hc over the past bf titles. Though I hope dice will tell them to get the fuck back to normal mode and leave us alone ^^

Hmm, I'd like just 60hp and a compass and be done with it. But as long as the time to kill goes down and those stupid doritos above ones head disappear, I'm happy. Now release the custom community servers and hardcore mode, release them now damnit!

Would wait with buying premium indeed. It'll get cheaper before you'll really need it. And they better bring out a proper hardcore mode and servers soon, or it will be a short lived game for me. Though so far I really like it, more then I expected. Can live with normal mode and random servers for a short time as well Oh and operations is awesome to!

I will get it if they follow up the promise of dedicated servers. Which i think they will. Helltigris, with bf4 dice did more then just fixing it. We got free DLC, even after the planned ones. In my book dice made things right, supporting a fps game for nearly 3 years is quit rare. They did and bf4 is technically the best bf game to date. Bought the game today and had a couple of rounds. Like it so far, even though I don't get all the more yet. I did learn however not to teacher the tank as a newcomer, seems to get people mad

If there is gonna be XI hardcore server I'm gonna buy it. Just gonna blame the 'netcode' for the first year for my shitty skills, like everybody did in bf4 I just hope dice isn't gonna listen too much to the players, all I saw in chat today was whining. All the whining, but in the end mostly everybody will buy the game That said, I've got something to whine as well ^^ played quit a bit and I more or less like it. But for some reason the game feels more like an adventure game or something than a true fps. Curious to play other maps.

@@Sonovabich, there is a little off switch in the main menu. Lower left side Tanks in Rush are a bit OP, but more because there are about 3 tanks per team of 12.. In CQ tanks didn't really bother me tho.

Dukoo, on what info are you basing the absence of dedicated servers on? Anyway, here is the link to the confirmation from dice concerning a server browser. Not sure yet

As jay said, i also hope there will be dedicated servers. Though dice did say bf1 will have them in a tweet. Never played the beta so I can't compare, but I like the map. Sorta feels more like ww2 for me, even more so with all they auto/semi auto weapons. But I don't really mind that. Today I played a couple of rounds with the tank and damn are they slow. I get that they where slow in real life, but it kinda feels weird. On one hand you have fast player movement, but on the other just really slow vehicle movement. In a ww1 setting I just expected a bit slower pace overall, but for now I'm liking it.

Got to play a couple of rounds before work. So far i like it, only played cq but i like the map size. Also did some flying, i like these little planes, so much easier to get kills against inf then bf4. But now bring on hardcore mode!
