Thanks for adding barron! Had some great rounds today Not gonna make an other topic for it, buy got an unrelated question. Is it possible to have rules on team kills, maybe like on bf4 where you get kicked after 5 tks? Had a couple of rounds in a row today, where one or two guys where fucking about and kept team killing. Damn annoying and vote kick never had enough voters, offcourse the opposite team isn't bothered with the tks so they don't vote. Other then that, thanks for the work! Server has been full last couple of days

That's the part that is worrying me, most YouTube vids I watched from popular YouTubers focus mostly on infantry. Lots of them whine about tanks and helos being OP. Fucking tanks should be OP. So I'm a bit worried about them listening to YouTubers, making the game cod in an old jacket. But we'll see.

Battefield/dice send out a tweet confirming there will be dedicated servers, so I'm just gonna hold them on there word But not pre-ordering until they confirm there will be community hosted servers like in previous bf games.

No I can't I wouldn't buy the game if it didn't had a server browser.

@smurf, yeah that is gonna suck. Though microtransactions are in bf4 as well. There you can buy battlepacks. So you unlock stuff faster. So long you can't buy special weapons or some other advantages in bf1 I ok with it

First few months of bf4 were a bit glitchy, with reported connection problems. Luckily I never had any real problems Gun balance was and is fine in my opinion and aside from personal preferences bf4 is the best bf game thus far. Sure the launch was just pathetic for a game as big as bf, but they made up for it big time with cte and all. Without that shitty launch I don't think they would've supported the game for this long. Yeah, for me the glass is half full Now back on topic, server browser is confirmed for bf1, so that's a relief

Fun gameplay is the most important, i agree. But i'm just wondering what the longevity is gonna be without a lot of mods and shit to unlock. But i'm sure dice thought about that. I get that CS is popular, but other then being a fps game it's nothing like the BF series. Personally i don't like CS, no ADS is no like from me But i do like games like insurgency or squad, but even though i really like the more realistic shooters i'm not playing those as much as i am playing BF. I get bored with insurgency after a while, partialy because there is just nothing to unlock or gain. But to each there own of course, would be rather boring if everybody liked the same shit I can't wait for BF1 to be released, i hope the prove my negative points wrong I can live with iron sights and the setting, but what i'm most afraid of after seeing the trailer a second time, is that it is gonna be a battlefront re-skin, with no need to ads and really just arcade gun feel. Oh and Dice apparently did listen to populair youtubers who played some parts of the game allready, that's kinda scarring me since they mosty just hate vehicles

Don't know what guided missiles have in common with scopes Either way, the principle of iron sights and 1x optics remain the same in game. Point the dot/front post at an enemy and shoot, no skill required. But I like to choose what pointy dot I use And I never once saw an adult online in the XI servers, as far as I know everybody here in XI is a manchild. How're they gonna separate those who are part men part boy.. This kid right here tho is gonna shoot you anyhow, electronic sight crutch or not

Ww1 is miles better than any futuristic setting like cod is doing now, so I agree in giving them credit for doing something new. I find both world wars interesting as historic events. But as a game setting I'm still not convinced, even though I liked 1942 a lot but that was years ago and before I got spoiled with modern games. But the design they're going with looks awesome and they made an awesome trailer that is making me think about buying a ticket for the hype train

Damn, that trailer looked awesome. Still not liking the setting since I'd rather have a present/near future setting, stupid iron sights But I have to admit, I'm a bit excited now. Specially for those planes Will see how the game unfolds and I'm buying it in the end anyway

I don't give a shit about skins for guns, though unlocking scopes and attachments for weapons is nice and makes me wanne play with all the weapons. They could give that all for free at the start, but what incentive i would have to use less good weapons and gadgets then. I just like to have some sort of goal in game, even though it is useless like getting a mastery dogtag for all weapons in bf4 I agree, 1942 was great, at that time it was for me the best game out there. But over time a lot has changed. For example, look at GTA3. At launch it was the best game ever, full of fun things to do and the first, good, open world 3d action game. Though, after i finished the next GTA game, Vice City, i went back to GTA3 because of the good memories. And damn, that games sucked. And not even the graphics, but there was just nothing to do other then walk around and kill some random NPCs. My point is, even though 1942 was great, playing that kind of game now is gonna suck. I'm spoiled and would get bored quickly. But that's not to say i wouldn't like a WW shooter, i'm just afraid that it would get bored quickly. If it is a WW setting, i hope they prove me wrong For singleplayer i would really want a good WW shooter tho, to bad they don't make good SP FPS shooters anymore But if i have to choose between history of far future i would go with the first. If it has lasers and jetpacks i wouldn't even buy it, syfy isn't for me Of course, everbody has the right to his own opinion Mine is just the better one
