It is not just the wireless data rates, Wireless headsets don't receive the same amount of power wired headphones receive. If you want great sound for music and everything else then wireless is not the way to go. Wired headphones with an AMP is awesome! Gaming headsets are not good. The high price tags are just because the headset is associated with the word gaming. They are no different than any $50 headsets that are not branded towards gaming. Excellent studio headphones start around $150.

Lower end headphones have weak cables that twist and snap. Studio grade especially BeyerDynamics don't have this issue. BeyerDynamic owners majority of them have had their headphones 8+ years including my brother. I run Windows 10 because I have done so much tinkering with it so it runs like Windows 7 The last windows 10 update wiped all my changes so I had to do everything all over again.... I bet it won't be the last time Microsoft releases another update that wipes all personal changes you made to windows 10. I'm thinking of installing the macintosh OS... I would use Steam OS but 95% of games are not compatible. I'm trying to get away from Windows. A need a permanent change for my OS.

In just about a 10 year period I have 222 games, I don't actually have 272 games since steam counts DLC and expansion packs as games If I was to average this I buy about 22 games a year or 1 to 2 games a month

No wireless headset is going to sound amazing due to it being wireless. You can't beat wired studio headphones. If the cord not being long enough is your concern you can buy a 6ft Audio extension cable for $3 or so. If you are looking for good quality then wireless is what you want.
