It's nice when you can get in a rhythm now & then. It's just practice & attention & not doing stupid shit; you'll notice I died when I did stupid shit like exposing myself when I didn't need to or not doing more 180's in their spawn on that little spree, but got greedy for that next kill. And there's different ways to play the same map, all other things being equal; that's why you saw me equivocating between playing like I know I want & how I thought I should. The game can be what you make it. Fuck hiding with that saw or even trying to have the patience to snipe. Sometimes you play like you want because it's fun, even if you're getting killed more than you have to.

Just shoot it in bursts. Practice with intention & attention yields results; I'm pushin' 50; been playing games since I was like 7... after 40+ years gotta make some kinda progress. Playing on a 65" screen helps, too; when you don't experience video lag when your card is overtaxed; makes you decide which way you want to be facing when you engage, at times; What I need to do is get a better card, but the prices are ridiculous; so what I need to do is go back to my gaming monitor so I don't have to accommodate or experience screen lag. Building a new rig; bu;t fuck those ridiculous graphics prices; they're smokin' crack out there.

@MikeB Hey thanks. Gonna get that Big Knob; might as well spend a few extra $ & get a good baseline unit rather than the minimum, only to spend more later. Pretty cool that POTUS's use the 57; the Shure tech guy recommended the 58 over the 57, interestingly. I also like that they didn't ask how the mic broke, being my dumbassery & unscrewing it to have a look around. I got Golden Earring's Radar Love on reel-to-reel along with a box full of other various tapes a friend's dad gave me 30 years ago. Tech guy said he didn't think I'd need a Cloud Lifter for the vocal setup. He was a real nice guy; chatted with him for a good 20 min. Oh yeah, he also recommended the Shure MVI for a different price point.

Ok, gettin the Mackie.... & the mic was an authentic Shure; which is surprising for the price. Shure is just gonna replace it rather than repair it, & it's shipping out this afternoon. Had I known it was genuine for $68 shipped, I woulda bought a couple more of them. Also found out that it doesn't have to be an 'authorized seller' from whom the mic was bought; the only requirement is that it's an authentic Shure, & they'll fix or replace it.
