  1. I'd like an option to remove it, if possible.
  2. Modded to run on contrails. Oh yeah, it's a manual; great fun to drive. Really like the handling of the Civics...dump it @ the apex of a turn or curve & get that centrifugal goodness.
  3. Safe travels.
  4. After so many headsets breaking over the years, I just went for a nice pc speaker system & a separate mic on a boom arm. The Klipsch are really nice for the price.: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-ProMedia-2-1-THX-Certified-Premium-Computer-Speakers-Speaker-NEW-BOX-/133822352220?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5337795679&toolid=10001&customid=727bb14845e34133b694cb483d244f98
  5. It's convenient using some of the other cast iron to buffer the temperature stability while I bake; You want to get the oven as hot as possible for the pie, which also seasons any cast iron in there, as the smoke point of the soybean oil I use to season is around 450F & the oven is usually between 550 & 610. Been thinking of stripping down a pan & reseasoning it with refined Avacado oil as it's smoke point is ~520F, for a possibly more durable season. With the new chest freezer & prepping meats, breads, sauces, etc., I look for reasons to season, baking as often as is feasible to frying; which also has the added benefit of being healthier; or at lest less unhealthy. And cast iron is so great because it's tough, easy to maintain & holds & distributes heat so nice & evenly. Plus it's handsome, too. Great, now I'm hungry again.
  6. Nice; but I'd probably go with some Prosciutto & top it with some parmesan under the broiler for the last min.
  7. Yes; & from doing some reading on systems, sharpening applications & principles, that's all one really needs. A super-sharp, highly-polished razor's edge is hyped in marketing, on cooking shows & in enthusiasts' sites in articles & comment sections. Anybody with a passing familiarity of knife sharpening & tests has seen the 'will it cut paper' test; it's just not what's best or practical for a knife's optimal kitchen performance. A razor-sharp blade that's been highly polished will have a thin edge that will dull quickly & require frequent honing on a steel. Many people then make the mistake of resharpening their blade instead; grinding away steel & shortening the life of their blade. A blade that's done 80-90% as sharp as possible will work much better for 2 reasons. The thicker blade will hold its edge much longer & not roll over, requiring straightening on a steel less often. Although it may not be 'sharp' enough to push through a piece of paper & shear of a piece, it will slice through food items much better due to the micro serrations along the blade when sharpened to something less than a high polish.
  8. Sounds like a Manga title, but it's a knife sharpening system. Looked around & decided it was the best value. Always caveat Emptor when shopping; due diligence for purchase price as with previous consideration of product candidates: Did a little searching & found what I thought was the best balance of price & quality, features. $30 with 10 stones. And definitely a better price than these folks who want to charge you 5X the going rate for the privilege of having their name on the bag. Anyhoo, anybody ever use this brand? How were your results?
  9. Made a pie.
  10. Felicitations!
  11. A detailed explanation: .
  12. I have an old facebook secondary account for gaming; it has the maximum number of friends allowed so that I could trade in-game items, & send and receive gifts. It's one of the posts that popped up when I was skimming through. It stood out because it wasn't a game-related post.
  13. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
  14. Star Trek nerd?
  15. It looked properly rotated before being uploaded; youtube conveniently further hamstrung the integrated editor to remove rotation; so gonna upload a rotated version to replace it.
  16. There's a blue million of them around here; thanks for the offer nonetheless.
  17. Gettin' cl0se to that time of year.
  18. Yeah, I have a few varieties of mini tripods; just don't want more shit sitting on my desk, when it can be clamped to the side of my desk or on one of my full-sized tripods.
  19. My Samsung Galaxy S9+ phone and a table clamp phone holder:
