So it's coming, just had to call & remind them, apparently. Said it'd just be easier to ship a new one since I was a dumbass & broke the original.

I'm gonna. Asked them several weeks ago if they like lasagna; they said yes, so I brought them a couple bricks. When I dropped by to pick up an order a few days later, they said they liked it. There's a lot of mom & pop Korean & Chinese restaurants around here & I make a point of being super nice to the restaurants I most frequent during my daily itinerary. Even said I could video record, so that'll be cool, too.

Lucky living right there. Actually get all kinds of free food offered; I'd be too spread-out to fit in the damn car if I accepted always. Yeah, bulgogi; good stuff. Actually gonna take some cooking lessons from this Korean lady who owns & runs her own restaurant. Jokingly said it'd be nice to come back in the kitchen & hang out & she said sure; so did her husband. Just gotta make the time.

It's nice when you can get in a rhythm now & then. It's just practice & attention & not doing stupid shit; you'll notice I died when I did stupid shit like exposing myself when I didn't need to or not doing more 180's in their spawn on that little spree, but got greedy for that next kill. And there's different ways to play the same map, all other things being equal; that's why you saw me equivocating between playing like I know I want & how I thought I should. The game can be what you make it. Fuck hiding with that saw or even trying to have the patience to snipe. Sometimes you play like you want because it's fun, even if you're getting killed more than you have to.

Just shoot it in bursts. Practice with intention & attention yields results; I'm pushin' 50; been playing games since I was like 7... after 40+ years gotta make some kinda progress. Playing on a 65" screen helps, too; when you don't experience video lag when your card is overtaxed; makes you decide which way you want to be facing when you engage, at times; What I need to do is get a better card, but the prices are ridiculous; so what I need to do is go back to my gaming monitor so I don't have to accommodate or experience screen lag. Building a new rig; bu;t fuck those ridiculous graphics prices; they're smokin' crack out there.
