  1. Thanks for the comments. adding them back
  2. I was playing earlier this evening and got the "Player Kicked" message and all of my favorite servers disappeared from my "Join Servers" list. Any ideas on what may have caused this? Thanks!
  3. KaptCrunch, that worked. Updated video drivers. Thanks to everyone for the support
  4. System is hogging resources
  5. I've narrowed this down to some sort of hardware issue. I installed COD4 on another computer connected to the same network (laptop) and don't have the game freezing issues on it. I don't have to be in-game for the freezing to happen. I don't notice any performance issues with the computer outside of COD4. Any ideas? May be time for a new machine.
  6. I should also mention, the freeze that happens during gameplay usually when something when some action happens in-game like: Me getting killed, throwing a grenade, calling in a chopper, etc.
  7. Thanks for the help. Here is the tracert below. I'm on wireless and did check all of that setup and it seems good...nothing has changed from when I was not having issues. I also tried Totty's suggestion because I did just get a new USB headset/mic and that did not solve it. I'm thinking the "request timed out"s might not be a good thing. Let me know what you think.
  8. Hello! Over the last 2 days, I have been having fluctuating ping from my normal(around 40) to 999. It goes back and forth during game play causing the the game to freeze. It lasts 3-4 seconds, then goes back to normal. I can play normally for a few seconds and it happens again. I have restarted the computer, checked all of my wifi settings, restarted my router and mesh network and none of that has helped. The only variable I can think of is a forced Windows 10 security update installed a few days ago. Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks, NACHO
