The hot tip on the NAS system will be project number one before I start scanning everything.

    Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, I remember researching NAS systems years ago. I got lost in all the RAID configs at the time. After looking at the Synology DS223 I think it is fairly simplified and cost effective. I've got tons of HDs sitting around doing nothing and they just pop in slicker than goose poop.

    This may not be in the right forum but here goes. I've watched a lot of vids on saving old media like pictures and videos. I've used some services that have converted said media to digital and then backed it up both in the cloud and to things like SSDs, DVDs, etc. Seems like every time I check the way I've done it is not a good way . . . har? Any way, I have a bunch of old photos, negatives, etc., and I'm wondering what you Idiots have used that works well. Thanks.

    Done and done. It was ON by default. I tried the FPS mode but didn't like it that much. Overall, still well worth the ducats. Thanks again!

    @Sharpe too. Thanks guys. Fixed the 165Hz in windows like you suggested. I get this Performance Warning off and on. Seems random. That's good, though, cuz now my shit play still has an excuse . . .

    I haven't messed with the settings yet. However, I can tell you the difference is very noticeable. How? Glad you asked . . . I can tell when someone kills me. Ha. In the past I'd get shot and not until I was frozen could I see the head popped up, etc. It is good to see the many ways in which I suck at this stuff so I can try to fix it. Now then, for the fps checker. What am I looking for? lol.
