This I do 3 times a year thanksgiving day Christmas and my birthday I love the turkey. If you Google turkey history you will know one reason why. Plus add the turkey soup wow love it turkey lunches love it. I have tried them all out and have to say this is the best way to get the most moist turkey possible. People at my table still don't believe its possible. Don't worry marge you're soaking in it :}
p.s. don't worry about the alcohol it does burn off and just leaves the taste of whatever winemaker does to make the wine. You have to play with this because some use herbs some use nuts some use fruit to make there wine and each one leaves a splendid taste in the turkey.turkey.
