  1. Yeah, that's a nice router. Asus are making some of the better routers for home use at the moment. Actually, the last generation was quite similar to this one but without 802.11ac. They were 802.11n. Supposedly 802.11ac is potentially 3x as fast as 302.11n.
  2. Welcome. Enjoy!
  3. Hi, if it's for steam games you can also use this: http://lifehacker.com/5626931/steam-mover-relocates-applications-to-free-up-space-on-your-primary-drive http://www.traynier.com/software/steammover There is another way to move steam games however, without the use of third party software. I prefer this method. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129 Hope some of this helps.
  4. Yes, if the card isn't reproducing the same issue in other games then "The Duck" ( ) is probably right about the drivers and settings. If it is doing the same in all games though, it could be on it's way out. You could also check to see if it's seated in the PCI-E slot correctly. The good old take it out and put it back in technique. Lol
  5. Hi, Building your own system is really very easy nowadays, it's mostly just plug and play. After you have built your first you will never buy a pre-built system again. Just do some research, make sure the parts are compatible and read the motherboard manual.
  6. Umm.... I just got that feeling of when you walk into the wrong room at the wrong time. Sorry to disturb you. Bye bye.
  7. Welcome back.
  8. Yes, I like analogue headsets better too, and you are right about the drivers. The on-board sound on a motherboard is better these days, but is still no where near as good as a dedicated card.
  9. I would also suggest the Sennheiser PC 360's as someone did earlier in the post. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for with headphones normally. Great sound especially when playing fps games as the directional sound is very good, meaning that you can hear which direction footsteps are coming from easily. I've heard that the Audio Technica headphones are also very good for gaming, although I haven't used them personally. Here is a link for some headphone reviews: http://www.head-fi.org/t/534479/mad-lust-envys-headphone-gaming-guide-updated-2-18-13-audeze-lcd-2-added As for the analogue vs USB question, if you have a dedicated sound card then I would definitely use analogue as they can be plugged directly into the card for better sound (when using USB you are bypassing your sound card). If you are using the on-board motherboard sound then it doesn't matter which you buy really. I would recommend getting a sound card though as you will get much better sound than the on-board can achieve.
  10. Hi, thanks. Your from Scotland too I see. I'm from Aberdeen originally. Living in Wales now. Thanks again for the welcome.
  11. Lol, I'll do my best.
  12. BILLY!!!! Good taste Mr Cheese.
  13. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the welcome. P.s. Smurf, I can't promise that I won't use the explosive Jeep technique in future. Lol.
  14. Hi, sorry. I play Battlefield 3 mostly.
  15. Hi all, I'm Sergeant Fist. I've been playing on your servers for while now, and I'm really enjoying it. Thanks to all the >XI< members and admins for welcoming me. I work in Saudi Arabia on an oil rig for 35 days then come back to the UK for 35 days, so I don't get to play as often as I would like to. But when I'm at home prepare to be Fisted. Sergeant Fist
