Thank you all. Its gonna be a long road. He will get to come home but its gonna be a long rough road. I am already making the plans to help get him settled and making the arrangements to get him to therapy. And I may be moving into my parents house for a bit so will be away from the game because my mom has got the flu and shes had it so long theres nothing they can do but let it run its course so depending on that, but u know they took care of me for 18 years, its my turn to return the favor. Thank you all so much for the prayers and keep them coming. And Shamu, ur words meant alot, thanks

Update: Its not the good news we have been hoping for. Looks like after 4 surgeries they are still gonna have to do a bypass on my dad. Due to prior problems, this is even riskier. I just saw my dad and how do u not break down and cry when the man u love and is so strong and held u all those times, asks u, "baby girl please pray for ur daddy".......then after fighting back the tears and u spend a lil more time with him before u walk out the door, he says" tell these damn nurses to turn the heat off, im roasting back here." lol I just busted out laughing and tears. Hes still so strong so keep the prayers coming. I will keep updating as we learn more. Thank you all so much and AStarRN, thank you in words beyond what I can say.

Update: We finally have a strong pulse going in his leg. Now just gotta pray that it stays that wait so right now is wait and see. But ur prayers are working, please keep them coming. Thank you all so much.

Update: He went thru another surgery at 5 this morning..an hour and 45 minutes later he came out. It is still clotting up faster than they can clean it out so yet again another surgery at 12. If that doesnt work they are gonna send him to a bigger hospital in Birmingham for a possible bypass. But according to my dads heart doctor, he cant have bypass done anymore due to an earlier problem with my dads heart, they had to remove the sac from his around his heart, and with bypass surgery with him there is a chance he will bleed to death so we are so confused on whats going on and what to do. I will keep posted as I can. It took me this long to do this without crying. Please pray!!

Ty...My mom just visited him and it seems the pulse is not as strong as it should be so its just a wait and see right now. Plz keep em coming, We need those prayers.

Update: I am home with a sick kid so I cant even be there right now. But my mom just called, hes resting at the moment. Hes in ICU and they are giving blood thinners to see if this helps open up the clots(he has several of them) and try to get them to dissolve through and keep the blood flowing through. They have scheduled another surgery in the morning. Due to another condition, every surgery he undergoes is a major risk..so please keep the prayers coming. Thank you!
