Righto gang.....long story short = managed to accidentally format pc.......doh, don't ask how......I don't even know. Managing to get there with Cavey and Rockapes help. Have got most things back but need to patch COD 4 asap. Have been told I need to patch up to patch 1.7. Can someone let me know the best place to get the patches from and do I have to do patch 1.1 then 1.2 etc till I get to patch 1.7? Your help asap would be greatly appreciated. Cheers all. I have a real problem trying to get in now. Was all ok until this am when I tried to get in. Loads up ok till after the " Setting up Game ....." screen. I then have a download screen that freezes or refuses to download...? It says:- http://redirect.ny.gameserver.com/8.9.5.213/mods/ximw2/goo..... Then stops downloading at " 0 bytes of 267kb copied (0%)" Any help would be much appreciated as I love the mod. Will also call Rockape for help. Cheers Gang. Sumo

Hey my fellow idiots. Hope you are all well. Right brief history is as follows. Bought a 2nd hand graphics card from a mate to give my pc a bit of a boost. It got fried and died. Now have my old Nvidia 7800 GT (256mb) back in. Rockape pointed me in the direction of an Nvidia 260 GTX (roughly same spec as the card that blew - Nvidia 8800gtx) that I may get mid april. Does anyone have one? What are they like? Power hungry? Run hot? You know all the usual questions....... Many thnks in advance of any replies. Cheers all. Sumo.

Hi Gang. Not sure if this is the done thing on a gaming site..... Am also a member of a D/hill mountainbiking site and any post that starts...."what bike part....?" will get slated. Anyhoo here goes. I want a new graphics card. Haven't upgraded a part on my pc for a least 5 years. Yes I know what a dinosaur!! Am looking at a couple in a certain price range......(not a lot when I started looking into it). Currently have the following system spec (no laughing at the back...) AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor 4400+ 2GB Ram NVIDIA Geforce 7800gt card (256 mb memory) This sits on a ASUS A8N SLI mobo. Have looked at a couple of Graphics cards that might fit the mobo and wanted your opinion/alternatives etc. They are... Hey idiots. Hope you are all well and that you have a great 2011. Just tried to get in server 2 for some freezetag fun as all the usual suspects were on there. Got the above message when I try and log in through HLSW. Tried server 1 and MW2 server and no probs. I know i have a gigantic ping (yes I said ping) compared to most just wondering if anyone else has had the same prob? Cheers in advance for any replies. Sumo

greywolf2 1-2 weeks i believe last i heard. ph4nt0m and sitting have taken over to get the final fixes done. Yeeeeaaahhhhhhhhhh. Takes me an age to download maps. The information is transported to me via carrier pigeon as I live in the countryside. Can't wait. Sumo.
