after looking at this more im not sure if this fix will affect the problem we have. this fix was made specifically for the [isell] sign to be able to receive damaged items, so i am not sure if me adding it to the buy section of the config will have any effect on the behavior of the buy signs. It is added just let me know

no i havent seen this i am looking at the config now. I will add it in to the buy section for players that way you should be able to sell items with durability. let me know if this fixes the issue.

we will probably be updating to 9.1 today. weve had the new update running on the test server for a couple days and all seems well.

we have actually been talking about having a pvp world with no banned items in it.

it is pretty cool i agree. but like you said there isnt really but one purpose for the mod and on a non raiding and non griefing server its just doesnt fit well. not sure if we can remove the whole mod or end up banning items. we will see

Just came across this picture of a local fishing legend here in Kemah, TX. this guy has been fishing this way for many years and has won some good tournaments from this little "boat". From what ive heard its just a plywood box that he built. Goes to show you that bigger and nicer fishing gear doesnt mean you will catch anything. look at this guy, he wants it so he gets it. Its a good way to go about things if you ask me.

I do like the idea of a book the players are given when they join though. One that explains the rules and maybe list the banned items as well. A welcome book i guess the first time you join the server.

Yes you are right HXTR. and im not saying that slackers actions were justified, all i was getting at is that both parties had a part in the dispute. And it is hard getting minecraft admins. the only two clan members ive really seen in the server are supadupa and bigcheese. So when we get someone who joins thwe clan and wants to be an admin we support that. that server takes a lot of admining(i think thats a word) and king and I were getting overwhelmed. The few people who weve made admins have been lifesavers. I am all about having some of you more long time clan members into minecraft and become admins but that just doesnt seem like it will happen. And aside from all this nonsense on here today Slacker is a very good admin. Albeit somewhat heavy handed at times. So were my parents though and i turned out alright. at least i think so. and i like having an admin that i know isnt giving out free stuff all the time and is watching the game all the time. Sometimes these people in this game will take every chance they can to get at you and he doesnt take any shit. But i have been chatting with him all day today and i really dont think there will be any more reports of admin abuse. whether they are founded or not. But like you said HXTR we are here to have fun and thats what this clan is about is a fun place for us all to play together.

well you purposely used the tool to make the noise. you said that yourself. so that sure looks like you trying to provoke. this is a two person dispute you had your fair part in it as well. I am also not in the business of having you judge the admins on their behavior. If you have you have been wronged then you have a voice and it has been heard. I have already talked to Slacker myself and this wont happen again. but if your here to try and get him booted from being an admin then thats a fight your going to lose. you have made yourself heard. the whole clan has heard and had their opinions voiced on here as well. This doesnt need to go any farther.

wow this post got big quick. I stand behind everything slacker does ok. In his defense the player was trying to provoke him. Chilly only did that to try and piss him off for which he was wrong. but thats part of being an admin and it is up to us to keep a cool head and not let these people get to us on a personal level. As far as the bedrock goes the players already know afk machines are not allowed thats why you get kicked for being afk. I dont ever remove the bedrock after i place it so Slacker was more generous than i would have been. Minecraft takes a certain kind of administrator that is not the same as other games and Slacker does a VERY good job at it. All that being said i think that maybe the actions to kill the guy back werent needed as they didnt server any contstructive purpose other than to get back at him, and thats not something we as admins need to be engaging in. We are supposed to be the ones who can regulate situations like this without getting emotionally involved.
