And I should add, that my being redirected wasn't a big deal, as I got back in a short time later. It just made we wonder if there was a way to be more selective in the redirects, that's all.

No offense taken Techno. The reason I posted this was to get feedback from everyone, whether it be good, bad, or ugly. The player I refer to, in perhaps somewhat derogatory terms, wasn't an Xi member. Just a "newer" player, who judging by their experience points, had played in MW2 before but clearly didn't understand the rules. And again, I don't have a problem being redirected so an Xi member just being redirected when there was a better candidate to get moved.

Hey all, I've been thoroughly enjoying spending time with the gang on the MW2 server. I have a suggestion regarding the "redirect to make room for XI members" on the MW2 server. Although it can be disappointing to get redirected to another server, I understand the need for this. However, this past weekend, I had been in the MW2 server for an hour or two, quietly getting my ass frozen as usual, watching as the admins tried to get another player to stop the "quit and rejoin" tactic. When all of a sudden I get redirected to the other server. Again, I fully understand the need for this, but in this particular case, I got redirected whilst a noob, who is running afoul of the rules, got to stay. (I don't know how long the noob got to stay and it is possible he was redirected as well, but I didn't see him in the other server.) Is it possible to have players selected and redirected based on their experience points? Those with lower experience points would get redirected before those who have been playing here for many months. It would buy me a few more minutes of frozen time. Thanks.

The possibility that it could be my isp never occurred to me. Primarily since Cod4 on line is nearly perfect. But it can't hurt to put in a call to them. I'll give that a try this weekend. Thanks guys.

Hello Xi, Wondering if I could get some input from the experts. A few weeks ago I started to have issues with Cod2. While playing, the game would freeze/lag for a half second or so every couple of minutes. My ping is still pretty good (50 to 70ish). I have uninstalled and reinstalled Cod2 and still have the problem. This is a problem in both the Xi and DB servers I frequent. So I don't think it is a server issue but an issue on my end. I am running a 6 month old 27inch iMac so hardware isn't an issue as Cod2 has run fine until a few weeks ago. The iMac even handles Cod4 on the Xi servers with no issue with that game at all. The only thing I can think of is this started to occur around the time (shortly after) I purchased and installed Cod4 on my iMac. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall Cod4 as it is running well. But I will give that a try if necessary. Any other suggestions (beyond the "get a PC" suggestion)?

After Chknfngr sniped me repeatedly yesterday, I sure wish I had the permission to use !fu. But since I don't have that privilege in the Cod4 server, I'll say it now: !fu Chknfnger I think I was half his kills on at least one map yesterday. Is the !fu permission set to members only or is there some other criteria?

Wish I was 17 again. With what I know now, I might have had a date in high school.
