I used to pop onto the london server - but now the mod has been changed don't like it so don't go on - if i get kicked from main and moved to the london one i just close the game and wait !

OK, so to even things up having started a thread on americans, here is a sample of british policing at its best ! This is a genuine complaint to Devon & Cornwall Police Force from an angry member of the public A true email sent to the force, lengthy but brilliantly written..... -------------- Dear Sir/Madam/Automated telephone answering service, Having spent the past twenty minutes waiting for someone at Bodmin police station to pick up a telephone I have decided to abandon the idea and try e-mailing you instead. Perhaps you would be so kind as to pass this message on to your colleagues in Bodmin, by means of smoke signal, carrier pigeon or Ouija board. As I'm writing this e-mail there are eleven failed medical experiments (I think you call them youths) in St Mary's Crescent, which is just off St Mary's Road in Bodmin. Six of them seem happy enough to play a game which involves kicking a football against an iron gate with the force of a meteorite. This causes an earth shattering CLANG! Which rings throughout the entire building. This game is now in its third week and as I am unsure how the scoring system works, I have no idea if it will end any time soon. The remaining five failed-abortions are happily rummaging through several bags of rubbish and items of furniture that someone has so thoughtfully dumped beside the wheelie bins. One of them has found a saw and is setting about a discarded chair like a beaver on ecstasy pills. I fear that it's only a matter of time before they turn their limited attention to the caravan gas bottle that is lying on its side between the two bins. If they could be relied on to only blow their own arms and legs off then I would happily leave them to it. I would even go so far as to lend them the matches. Unfortunately they are far more likely to blow up half the street with them and I've just finished decorating the kitchen. What I suggest is this - after replying to this e-mai l with worthless assurances that the matter is being looked into and will be dealt with, why not leave it until the one night of the year (probably bath night) when there are no mutants around then drive up the street in a Panda car before doing a three point turn and disappearing again. This will of course serve no other purpose than to remind us what policemen actually look like. I trust that when I take a claw hammer to the skull of one of these throwbacks you'll do me the same courtesy of giving me a four month head start before coming to arrest me. In the five or so years I have lived in St Mary's Crescent , I have never seen you. Do you hide up a tree or have you gone deep undercover and infiltrated the gang itself? Are you the one with the acne and the moustache on his forehead or the one with a chin like a wash hand basin? It's surely only a matter of time before you are head-hunted by MI5 to look for Osama. Whilst I realise that there may be far more serious crimes taking place in Bodmin, such as smoking in a public place or being Christian without due care and attention, is it too much to ask for a policeman to explain (using words of no more than two syllables at a time) to these twats that they might want to play their strange football game elsewhere. The pitch on Fairpark Road , or the one at Priory Park are both within spitting distance as is the bottom of the Par Dock, the latter being the preferred option especially if the tide is in. 3 rounds could be easier - would allow for more maps to be played and allow a better gameplay. A long map can be a pain!

Having made 20 posts on the site, ventured on to TS3, logged 100's of hours on the server and loving it - I wonder who would be up for sponsoring my clan membership?

thats a shame - i didn't reinstall my game or os - the other servers i play on are unaffected - Just the XI Servers

but i am level 4 not level 55 lol

I was on level 62 - the server reported an issue with the xml file and booted me - now i am back to level 4 - anyway this can be corrected?? I haven't reinstalled cod4 so its not that its server side issue

My first nuke - Wow what fun !! I would especially like to thank all those on the other team who had unfortunately used up their grenades and were forced to die in my annihilating tactical nuclear strike - your deaths were not in vane but they made my morning !! I use windows 8 on all my pc's barring my DJ laptop. They are all touch screen so that's handy as windows 8 is really as commented optimised for touch. However i had issues with my Cyborg keyboard. Saitek were as much help as a chocolate teapot when trying to get it fixed. It now works as a standard keyboard with the extra options not being used. However the mouse worked fine first time. Windows 8 coupled with Office 365 is a really good option for me as I produce lots of bits for my hotel and I can then access them anywhere.

After being shunted from the main server to the london server i was asked for a password. I don't have one and its never asked before. I wonder if a) it could be looked at if not can i have the password or c) failing that can i become a clan member. Ta Muchly

I am often amazed at pings - I'm hard wired directly to my cable router. My cable service comes in at 105mb on a regular basis - though is about to go up to 120mb. Pings are still a little higher than i would like - but then hey - I couldn't hit a barn door without standing at it so who gives a ****! Though Wildthing did walk in front of two of my bullets yesterday giving me quite a self satisfied smirk for the rest of that round!

Having seen the post about the 12yr old questioning the US Policeman I thought I would add one of our own police units also displaying unremarkable bad skills at parking! Pay special attention to what is written on the back window !

Great to have a London server - I always find a high ping in the US one. Though I hope we will have plenty of players including the occasional Admin as I notice the most XI are on the main US Server

Whats the TS3 details?

Well I thought i would join the xi site - been playing on and off on the server for about a year i think. So a little about me : I'm a hotel owner in Blackpool, UK. When i first started playing shootem ups, I played Medal of Honour and chose the Flying Dutchman name - This became shortened to Flying Dutch when i purchased COD4 and then hunted round for a good server to play on. XI is fab and always welcoming, it also has some of the best maps and features going. As some of you know I am not always the best and often have exceptionally high death streaks - well at least i come first in something. I use for gaming a Cyborg Keyboard and RAT 3 Mouse.
