ok ted, i must say i like your words here. even if i disagree with what obama is doing or not and if its good or not for usa. but yea im not there so i cant really judge what is really going on. from an external point of view like mine, its mostly some good things, but yea, like i said i cant really judge.

not all illegals are working 'under the table', well at least in europe they even got like 50 of them working at french government to build some stuffs and they now are asking for papers. this is crazy, they met those politicians everyday and are now forced out of france. this is ridiculous. but of course u got some illegals that are working under the table and so dont pay working taxes, but like u and me, they pay taxes on everything they buy. and that is the main taxes that we pay. its a complex problem, but honestly i do not believe anyone saying they are stealing your job or whatever. and for your interest i also work under the table and i dont pay full the taxes i should. but its mostly because of the system and the crisis situation my customers are in. if i had to bill them full with taxes, they would never ask me to work for them. simple as that. not to mention the tax rate we are paying here is like 40%, so u guyz in usa got some margin

what about the golden rule ?

i hate imigration laws as its not natural to me, for centuries people migrated all over the globe without problems, but this century, it cause us a problem. and if i take some examples around me, it really scare me. see, belgium had that beautiful african country called belgian congo (then called zaïre and now democratic republic of congo), we took this country lot of ressources, lots of gold, on the other hand we also help that country with goods they never had before, but yea, when u look at all the money we make with that country, and that now some people that i would consider as my family dont have papers and were almost rapatriated, it really piss me off. if jesus was never able to get papers to travel like he did, maybe there even wont be churches on this planet. i know i may sound like a idealist dreaming hippie, but living in peace and harmony is possible.
