i dont know whats going on, i checked pings of a few servers and this one still like 50 more than usual for me

i think server 2 needs a reboot or something because its very laggy, and its not me this time, something is wrong on server 2 since like 1 or 2 weeks now, where weird things happens like it doesnt show some infos no more or its pretty random. but server response is very slow

high ping can be cause by distance from your computer to modem, modem to isp, isp to server but also something wrong in your windows settings, or a bad cable, or the server,... its not only the distance between you and the server. in game like cod2 or cod4, u can customize your config to find the 'sweet spot', so that the communications between you and the server can be better. first thing to do is set your FPS right seta cg_drawFPS "Simple" go play and note your lowest frame rate best is to cape the fps with 55, 76 or 125. those are the sweet spot for FPS in cod games. i hear you. this is very interresting, i think u are right, it may be due to pb. but then for my part its only this map in the actual rotation. but i experienced it with other maps we had in the past. so my next question is why would only certain maps cause problems with pbB ? hmm i played on some cod5 bolts only in the past and the admins just disabled pb completely after they realised it was the cause of hit registration problems and lag spikes. but then also why some people dont have those lags in that map, oh well, we should call the fbi or the experts or something i also have other question, what is the difference between server 1 and 2 in terms of pings, because they have almost the same ip, so i guessed they may be on the same box, but then why is there a 10-30 ping difference there?

last time it was david hassleorf all over the place with pink color everywhere, was funnier, but some people got offended i guess, so they made it a bit light this year

BoomSlang CHKN and about microsoft essentials, do someone still trust microsoft yet ? unbelievable What OS are you running. we had a link on this site with a virus and ME is the only one that caught it . im running XP pro, vista ultimate, windows 7 ultimate, mac OSX i dont use linux because it doesnt have the programs i have to use for work, otherwise i would, but yea from all the above ones that im using i know what one i can trust and what i just cant because of bad implementations dont get me wrong, i was a bit cynic with my 'i dont trust microsoft' but from my point of view microsoft isnt really what it should have been. when u look at their stupid adverts, where they say oh look i thought about something and microoft made it for me, thats just bs to me. they just copied what mac os was doing for years and say they made it for us. and they made it worse anyway lol bah yea im using windows everyday, and will continue anyway, but i wont trust them or their products 100%

i have a friend that got a whole system infected with AVG, impossible to get rid of the shit, i wouldnt trust it. wife got Avast, and its annoying as hell. i personally use NOD32, well ESET SMART SECURITY, its not free, but no others can be that good. will never use norton ever again or anything else. thing is AVG seems to be the most trusted free anti-virus out there. but not for me

yea its only on this map, i got no lag on any other maps that are in the rotation now. i really doubt its my computer or my connection, my connection is perfect like it never was, i just got moved to fiber optic kind of connection, well its fiber optics to the streetbox and then its copper to my house, but yea connection is stable like a roman wall.
