Titli's recipe includes aubergine which is something new to me in this dish. I expect a Dhansak to be fairly hot in the spice department, somewhat sweet and with a sour element to it as well but I shall give this recipe a try sometime. The recommended stuffed parathas are another of my favourites! I also like a little hot lime pickle on the side as an accompaniment. To drink? Bangla or Kingfisher preferred! Bon appetit! Awards
