i have been getting this error report since i rebuilt .i have updated the card bios as suggested and tryed all the drivers still getting this error.rumor has it that alot of people have this problem with the 1gig cards i think its time to cange but not sure any help with this would be great.

BCCode 117 is usually a video driver related error.Run memtest to rule out bad memory,make sure your power supply is 450watt or> and has at least 24amps on the 12volt rail and make sure ALL of the previous drivers are removed before installing the newer ones.

thanks Gump but i went and switched out the palit gtx460 sonic plat. and picked up a evga gtx460 .since palit has no tech support and i know that evga will stand behind there product. we shall see if this works better

I am runnig 2 of these cards.  You have to have a strong enuff power supply becuase they draw alot of power.  If you google the error code, you might find alitlte more info on it or fix for it.  becuase it could be a direct x problem.
